Often recently I have read posts about my club that paint a picture of us being the **** of the league. Whether it being our manager tapping up, messing up players careers, stealing info, screwing up young kids education, messing clubs around over transfers or trying to ride rough-shot over the leagues for profit. While no-one with any trust in Ed.002 is denying that these things have happened, it always felt to me a very one sided picture. Is it true that our club is heartless, soulless and cold. I never believed that for a minute and while I know there are things the club has done that we shouldn't be proud of, I am tired of only ever hearing the bad, where's the reports of the good we do?

So in an effort to re-address the balance, I'd like to start a thread sharing the good in the club and its people. To start, part of an interview with Jose Enrique as to why he supports Liverpool now.

"I have nothing bad to say about the club. Newcastle will always have a place in my heart.

"But Liverpool has been everything for me. I had the best times and the worst times of my life there. I had my injury there, I met my partner there. And then after the worst moment of my life, my tumour, Liverpool were the first ones to get in touch.

"Peter Moore was the first person to get in touch with me. The club put me with the legends as soon as they could. How they've been with me from the first day, they always treated me with so much respect.

"I was going through a very difficult time in my life and they looked after me so much.

"The fans on social media have always been incredible to me - the Newcastle fans have always been great too - but it goes further with Liverpool. "

I love Liverpool FC, YNWA.

Well said Potclay. My friend at school died at Hillsborough and I will always respect the club, players and traditions for the unbelievable things they did afterwards. Kenny, nicol and Barnes were all at the funeral and provided my friends family and close friends with incredible support.

I know we are under new management now but Kennys still there plus many of the players have roles around the club.

Yes we have screwed up at times more recently but when it really counted - and I don’t mean stuff like tapping up - when lives were lost, the club was the best there could be. End of.
