And in one of those games we conceded 7,another 3. If he doesn't play and we win something, does he deserve it? Not trying to be harsh. I wish he didn't go for that ball against pickford. I wish pickFord had the bottle to go with his hands (like keepers are meant to btw) Jordan was so worried as bout coming out and making another howler, he just went over the top.
I know where you're coming from, I love Virgil. But if its Joe and Joel who gets us the league they're going to be the ones I'm cheering.

Robbie, we won the league and european cup on the back of VVD's monumental influence on this team. They could give him and Klopp the keys to the city and I'd have no problem with it. And you ask would he deserve a medal.

Hey look nobody is doubting the effect VVD has had on this team since he arrived but this team has won more than it did before he arrived and is better than it was back then.
The players around VVD have grown into better players, Trent, Robbo, Fabinho, Gomez, Ali, Hendo, Wijnaldum these are all better players now than they were 3 years ago so all this thought about us going back to how we were is nonsense.
We can still win things without VVD you should never get sucked in to the media hype.
As for Virgil getting a medal he’s in for a long, tough recovery so I hope the boys get the job done for him and he will deserve the medal as much as any of the squad.

EPL must be very careful their current goings on's. I've been watching EPL for 25+ years but lately the decisions are bordering on bribery irrespective of which team you support.
Poor FA decisions, clubs becoming bullies with Project Big Picture and the like, mental VAR decisions and players destroying the game with their antics and so on, the EPL may lose its shine and top managers and players will leave and so on.
I remember the Italian league was the be all an end all in the 80's and 90's and yeah the problems i mentioned is probably in most leagues across Europe but the incompetence of the FA and how it defends referees even after its their fault is becoming a farce.
VAR works fine in others country's. Vid tech works fine in Cricket and Rubgy. Only the EPL they have their own standards and that's why no English Ref made it to the last WC. They have opened a door that will not end well.

If we win the league I'm sure vvd gets one but he won't have deserved it really. THIS Season the medals are for this season and big v may not be playing so he won't deserve his as much as the boys who get us there.

Robbie you are not taking into account the influence he could have off the pitch. He’s part of the squad and you could argue he will have to work harder than anyone over the next 6 months whilst supporting the rest of the squad at the same time.
Klopp always argues that all players in the squad have an influence on match days whether they play or not by their attitude and the way they train.
What did he say? You don’t get to play like we do without training as hard as we do. That’s not just the first eleven but that has to run throughout the squad.
