What’s everyone’s thoughts on next 2 games.
Do we go full strength for both or another rotation for the CL giving players 8 days recovery for City game?

I would love to see Jota, Shaq and Minamino versus Atalanta, joined by Mane as 4-2-3-1 cb is a strange one, Gomez is a must as we don't have anyone else for as senior, as of yet as we don't know about Matip. Rhys might play or we may go with Gini or Hendo as cb. I don't know, no one knows now. That's what makes it interesting season for us fans of LFC. So far I'm enjoying every bit of it, even the villa one, as to be honest I was laughing at one point when I watched it. Plus we needed someone to awaken us.

Mart I do think Shaq and Minamino do deserve minutes but I’d also like to see Jota start some games with Salah and Mane. I’d like to see Matip and Thiago get some minutes because I think both will start against city so think it will be a big ask throwing them straight in with no match fitness In last few weeks. The great thing is we have a hell of a squad and like yourself I’m enjoying the rollercoaster of a season it’s already been.

The squad is having to deal with a lot of injuries right now but for the first time in many a year I do feel like if JK did rotate the squad I would still feel relatively confident and excited to see how the team plays with Minamino, jota, Shaq etc. For a long time and until very recently, rotation meant nerves and anxiety in my house. Life is good.

I think Shaqiri deserves to jump over Jones in the pecking order. And definitely ahead of Keita, whenever Keita is able to play (once in a blue moon) . Just like Jota has jumped ahead of Minamino.

For Atalanta, I would not go full tilt, and maybe even settle for a draw because we can afford it. Only because of the game coming after that. It is absolutely crucial that we beat ManC. It plays a large psychological role in how the other teams view us for the rest of the season (fear us or have a go as some have been doing) . We need to be at full strength, mentally calm, think about our last game against them and get some payback. A loss for them would deflate their sails, without question. More and more talk about Pep's position as manager, and a defeat would throw more doubts into their confidence.

Aray. I agree that a win at City is more valuable that at Atalanta but we shouldn't underestimate momentum. I do feel that we can rotate in Europe and push hard for the big win then have our "Best 11" (if there is such a thing now) for vity. Hopefully one of the less regular starters will put in a performance that earns him a City start.

Atalanta are no joke and should not be underrated in the slightest. We need to go as strong as we can and at least try to get a point away from home. As to the line up, it will depend. I think Shaq and Mino should start and then bring in the big guns upfront to close out the game. As for CB’s, Matip will have to play one of either Atalanta or City at best do we shall see.

Go full pelt at Atalanta and start rotating subs when were hopefully a couple of goals up.
