IMO Klopp has come out and defended Bobby because he won't start vs ManCity. He knows there will be lots of he's been dropped stuff written so he is protecting him in advance.

Good management.

For what it's worth I'd start Jota - strikers and golden patches come and go so use it will you can. And it will be different for Pep to work out. Defenders say they hate pace the most - imagine 3 Vardys with more skill running at you at the same time!

I’m making 3 predictions for tomoz.
Bobby will start with Jota on the bench.
Matip will start. As he wasn’t in the squad for a few games and then came straight into the starting 11 for Everton so he's done it before.
And my third prediction is massively left field and Thiago is a red heron from Klopp and will either start or be in the squad. We’re talking about the same guy who arrived on a Friday had no pre season or chance of playing against Chelsea to then make the squad and come on for a full half 2 days later. He also had 2 weeks off for C.V. and came straight into the starting line up for Everton.
I think my first 2 will happen but likely my third one won’t but just throwing it out there as a Klopp mind game.

Klopp will start with Bobby I reckon, City won’t be as open as Atalanta in mid week, so he’ll be looking to Bobby for the press and breaking the play in their half.

I’m never confident with City away.

Regardless of who plays it’s nice that we’ve finally got someone to generally push the front three. I’ve never ever seen anyone debate wether one of the front three should be dropped for origi. What a genuinely pleasant headache jota must give klopp!

Op, I don’t know how you came to that conclusion based on how Klopp has defended Bobbie and still started him right afterwards.

With JK23 as well, Bobbie and Matip will start tmrw vs City. And who would you want coming off the bench to add pace, movement and goal threat? Bobbie or Jota? Spoiler alert: The answer is not Bobbie.

I don't think city are the main threat. I think spurs could be the biggest threat. I also think could be a few teams up there.
