Massive game today and although it's a long season, the bigger the gap between us and City the better. Yes, other teams are in the mix but apart from us, City is the other team capable of going 4-8 weeks on a winning streak, though they haven't shown that type of consistency recently.

In regards to today's line up I will get it out the way, Bobby is and has been vital to our success so anyone looking to get rid needs to give their head a wobble. Now with that out the way, Jota has to start. We always talk about people deserving their place in the starting line up due to form and performances, well for me Jota is in a purple patch and you have to take advantage of that.

Bobby does play well against City so it's a tough one. Playing devil's advocate and throwing it out there but what's people's thoughts on the following line up;

Mane Firmino Salah
Gini Hendo

Robbo Gomez Matip Trent

That’s the line up I want, and I fully agree with every word alonso. The way the results have fallen, I feel like it’s a must win today. Tough but we can beat them.

Just don't see Klopp risking that starting line up, the midfield would be too exposed with Bobby in there.

I was thinking the same lineup except Bobby behind the front 3. Use his movement to create space and be the link to bring the ball onto play etc.

Don't think we can call it a 'must win' at this stage of the season. It's a huge game in that a win will hopefully give us momentum and belief going forward as well as a good gap between us and city. But it's early days yet and if we lose or take a point we move on to next week.
