Ed001

With all the injuries going on at the moment how would you want to line the team up against Liecester?

We can safely say that Trent, Gomez, Fabinho, and VVD are out. Thaigo is a maybe and perhaps a few others could be struggling after travelling for international duty.

With the pace of Vardy up front, do you think we should go with Phillips or Williams at CB? Then Neco and Robbo as fullbacks and Matip as the other CB?

Red Sandman.

{Ed001's Note - has to be Phillips at the back, Williams lacks any kind of defensive awareness and allows players to run off him at will. My worry is that Robbo is going to need a rest after the euphoria of qualification. He will have been too hyped to sleep properly and it will have taken an emotional and mental toll on him. Playing internationals, with all the travel involved, is absolutely moronic during a pandemic.}

Potentially all "first choice" back 4 out vs Leicester. Hopeful fabinho and thiago pass fitness tests then i would imagine.

Good point regarding Robbo ED001. Are you aware if how far away Tsmikas is from fitness?

{Ed001's Note - I think he is fit.}

Team for Leicester: Alisson, Neco, Matip, Fabinho, Robbo, Hendo, Thiago, Curtis, Mane, Shaq, Jota

Since we cannot have players playing every 3 days after international footie, rotation will be key. Wouldn't be surprised if Klopp fielded a vastly different team against Atalanta

Alisson, Milner, Rhys Williams, Matip, Tsimikas, Thiago, Gini, Keita, Bobby, Salah, Minamino.

Thanks for the response, Ed001

On the Robbo point. Completely agreed. Not sure if you managed to watch the game but Robbo was absolutely exhausted by the end. The lad needs a proper rest!

{Ed001's Note - I don't watch internationals, and I would certainly not watch a match when Steve Clarke is managing! The guy's tactics make Roy Hodgson look like an exciting manager who encourages flair.}

Timiskas played for Greece a few days ago and played quite well, only against Cyprus I guess but at least he isn't injured.
