Not all doom and gloom, ox looks like he on grass training (albeit only light training) again. Could still be we weeks away from getting near squad but atleast its positive. I genuinely thought it might have been another 3 months or so before we seen him again as the updates we kept getting where sketchy to say the least, but here hoping not too long away.

That will be a welcome boost. Easy to forget he was our highest scorer last year outside of the front 3.

I'm gradually removing all Liverpool players from my Fantasy Football team.

I had Salah, Trent and Robertson. All 3 got injured or caught C.V. inside a 5 day window. Naturally i've put in Maguire and Fernandes for Trent and Salah 👀.

Can’t see ox ever been back! Nottin more then a bit part player now injuries have robbed him! He’s on big wages id let him go sadly to many injury prone players that need shipping!

Jay i don't think he is on big wages compared to the others in the team. quick google (yes I know can't be trusted sometimes) but it states he earns 4.3 million a year so its 85-90k a week I'm fairly confident there's a lot of other players who earn more then him. anyway we have had a week of bad news constantly someone shares something nice about him returning and its straight to the negative fans moan to much.

Move into banking if you want high wages. as for myself I work in wind engineering that's not the point I'm making the comment was he is a high earner in our squad he really isn't, by all means 90k a week is an astronomical amount but compared to most of the first team if not all of them he isn't a top earner just enjoy the fact he is back around the squad training we are going to need everyone in the squad this year.

Obviously context is important when discussing wages. It's not comparable to the average person. You compare it to his peers and he's not a massive earner compared to his teammates. But ignore the point completely to squeeze some sarcasm in 😂.

Lmao mk. The Ox is a great player, that goal at genk last season, what a goal. One of my favourite goals ever for some reason. Just beautiful to watch. Superb technique.

{Ed025's Note - lets not go overboard here robbie, hes ok the ox and as an option from the bench hes good, but hes far too injury prone mate and even when fully fit is no more than a decent squad player..

I like Ox. Offers something different from central midfield and a good threat going foward. The injuries are a shame as I feel whenever he’s fit form he’s been really influential and deserved a starting role, only to get injured time and time again and have to restart. Even with the injuries he’s done far more in a red shirt than Naby.

Okay, you're taking me too literal ed025. I guess that's always an issue in a written forum. I don't suppose he will be remembered as "great" (yet) but before his injury at roma he was great for us. He and salah linked up really well down that right side. He was definitely a starter before that injury.

It's hardly his fault that he was tackled and injured. When fit he's a dangerous player.

And its not for you to say what my favourite goals are. No offence intended here. The goal against genk was gorgeous (his second one) both were nice but the dink from the edge of the area with the outside of his boot was lush. Superb.

The signing of fabhino made it difficult as next to our captain it only left one space in midfield.

{Ed025's Note - its just that you tend to over egg players robbie, he can hardly be catagorised as a "great player"mate, he does a job when asked and if he wasn,t injured so much then im sure he would have had more minutes on the pitch..
