This season was always going to be a one off. playing behind closed doors, C.V., frequent matches and to that injuries. But let's be honest even at the latter end if last season and the vast majority of this one, we have not been playing well. Klopp has to take some responsibility not sticking with Philips or Reece, strange team selection especially in a CL match that we didn't need to win and use of subs have not helped. Confidence is now at rock bottom and its a question of either playing through it or trying something different. this will determine just how good manager klopp is and how good a champions the team is.

I honestly can’t believe you are questioning how good a manager Klopp is?! All teams have been inconsistent since the first lockdown break it’s just how it is which is why we can drop the amount of points we have and still be in touch.
You could say Klopp has already proved what a good manager he is by only losing 2 games so far with no defence and still being anywhere near defending the title!
Just enjoy the ride and pray we get back to normal sooner rather than later.

I agree performances has been inconsistent, results weren't as good, and below par, and yes I agree maybe the players and manager can and should do better, and yes I agree there are lots to change and improve. But a CL trophy and league title, those not enough to determine that Klopp is a good manager? Maybe one of the best?

Every manager has to take responsibility when things ain’t going well like they take the praise when teams are successful. For me I can imagine Klopp will be regretting his decisions out in Denmark as we have really felt the loss of Jota as all of the front 3 are off form. For me though the decision not to play Williams or Phillips against Ings and Rashford are not mistakes. Both are not quick enough for premier league football and I think if either had played against Utd then the 7 times Rashford was offside he probably would have been played onside for 5 of them and the draw could easily have been a defeat.

Also to add I think Klopps selection / rotation policy and use of subs can be questioned and debated but I still stand by the fact Williams and Philips should not be used against pace.

Klopp is a one of the best managers around if not the best. But I also think it is ok to question some decisions he made and am sure klopp would be ok with that.

Klopps ability isn't his problem and shouldn't be questioned, its his loyalties proving the problem.

Its not ok for anyone that thinks they know a little about football (me included) to question Klopp in my opinion. He's the best around and has reasons for every decision he makes. Beyond questioning for me.

{Ed025's Note - no one is above criticism imo JH, no manager gets it right 100% of the time and its ok to ask questions, i dont like all that if you say something negative your not a true supporter lark mate, i will help you out...klopp is a fantastic manager but lately he has turned into a bit of a miserable sod, mini should be in for bobby who has not really produced the goods for a long while, and his substitutions and timing of them especially could be a lot better. there you are my friend.. :)

I don't believe saying negative things stops you being a fan either Ed, its just that let's face it. none of us here on this sight know more than a miniscule fraction of what Klopp knows about this team, a team which he sees everyday and what niggly injuries or whatever are floating around. As for the miserable sod has he really been? or is it just that he's been less of the "big happy german"this year? Has he really been any worse then Carlo, Pep, Mikel or any ofthe rest?

{Ed025's Note - its just not like him JH, maybe its pressure mate but i want the happy go lucky old klipperty back..
