Morning, Miles better performance yesterday, think Trent was too far forward that first half and we should of held him back a little, seeing Williams on the team sheet was game over and probably a lift for United, the lad couldn't keep up with Jan Molby now and isn't even League 1 level, harsh but its been seen a mile off, wouldn't be surprised if Klopp put him in to prove we need strengthening asap, glad we kept the aimless crossing to a minimal and certainly more upbeat for Spurs Thursday, keep the ball down, play Bobby as a 10 and let Salah and Mane play off the last defenders, sack off the crossing, poor showing not having Mini come on again but hey ho YNWA.

{Ed025's Note - i think we have to stop all this scapegoating of williams lancaster, he was not the one who misjudged the cross and left greenwood free for uniteds first, and not the one who gave away a silly free kick on the edge of the box for their winner. ok he was not great but certainly not the only one who fluffed their lines, alisson hardly covered himself in glory either to be fair.
It was a decent performance by the reds in a very entertaining game and showed that there is still a good side in there actually, on another day you could have won it but thats football mate..

My only positive from yesterday is we scored 2 goals. We didn’t win the game and more concerning we conceded 3. Losing a game 0-1 or 2-3 isn’t really an improvement for me.

I said yesterday that I hate slagging off our players, especially the youngsters, but I am a bit bemused at how Williams has got to be the pick of our academy defenders given his lack of pace? This must be obvious to the coaches even at youth level football?

{Ed025's Note - they must see something in him johnny and they get to see him day in day out, with all the injuries and the apparent lack of funds it looks like hobson,s choice mate, i actually feel sorry for the lad as it cant be easy being thust into the limelight so quickly and i think the supporters should cut him some slack..

Yes I agree that there were a few that made mistakes yesterday but the thing is, there hasn’t been a game this season where I’ve watched Williams play and he hasn’t made a mistake. Surely we can get someone in on loan until the end of the season at least to fill the gap left by the injuries.

25 - 'that's football'. I'm with you mate. I think we underplay how much footballing luck we got the last couple seasons. we're not getting it now, coupled with the injuries and C.V. and it ain't pretty. we do need an element of luck to go our way right now.

{Ed025's Note - you always need a bit of luck faith and liverpool are not getting the rub of the green lately, but things change very quickly in football mate and the season is far from over..

Anyone notice that winaljdum gets in the best postiton in the box but refuses to take a shot on goal. reminds me off Sissoko.

Gini will be missed when / if he goes i just wish he take a few shots on goal himself though.

The lad is living our dream so fair play to him, felt he would of been of benefit if Trent didn't leave him one v one so often, he dived 3 times with no hope of winning the ball, looking very amateur while doing it, i think it maybe Klopp showing the owners, this is all we got.
