Hi guys, relating to the match tomorrow I think we just have to beat Chelsea, anything else is a no go for me. the games are getting smaller and we cannot afford to dropping points here and there, mind you we have some tough away games to come (arsenal and man United) . So it is imperative that we need to take advantage of our home games from now henceforth if we want to achieve our aim of champions league football for next season. concerning tomorrow's game, I am quietly confident of beating Chelsea, why because they will come out to play and that suits us to a Tee, here's hoping for victory to the Reds, up Liverpool.

Every time we play I expect and want us to win. Comeon reds!

From what I’ve seen of Chelsea since Tuchel took over they set up very defensively as a 3 4 2 1 which retreats into a 541 and becomes very defensive just looking to nick the odd goal and shut the game off. Exactly the kind of set up we struggle against.

A point will be a good result tomorrow, especially with the fixtures coming up.

Why not drop all the "must win" pressure and let's just focus on doing wat we do best winning games and performing to a high standard!

6 times I get where you are coming from, but the point I was trying to make is that, Chelsea likes to dominate games since tuchel came, all the games they played they dominate which will likely play to our hands, I don't think their coach is the type that plays defensive hence the comparison with kloop, apart from that their midfield is not that tstrong, so I think if we play to our strength we win simples.

They’ve seemed pretty defensive since he’s come in, he’s certainly no advocate of ‘heavy metal football’ that’s for sure. Playing with 5 defenders in the team and a defensive midfielder is about as negative as it gets! I look at our midfield and think that unless Fab is playing there, we’re getting beaten because without Fabinho and Henderson we’re very lightweight in midfield.

We need to set up like we did against sheff utd, get trent and robbo pushing their wing backs towards their own goal.
Mane pushing through the middle with Bobby dropping, doubt jota will start, then fab can make a 3 at cb whilst attacking with gini/ Thiago and Jones in midfield.

3-4-1-2 whilst attacking
Then
4-3-3 when defending.

Hmmm. I'm not confident at all. I didn't see that much of an improvement against Sheff Utd to think we have remotely turned a corner. I think we are a brave few of our better players short to win. Hope I'm wrong like.

Spot on, Hailstones. Enuff of this whole “must win” schstick. It is just a way to apply unwarranted pressure on an already vulnerable team hence if they don’t win, people can kick off all over again.

There are still 12 games left to play or so hence, nothing will b decided win, lose it draw. I hope we win and it will b a very tough game cos Tuchel has Chelsea playing conservative football and then going from there. We should go at them for sure BUT must remember that if you can’t win the game, you best NOT lose it.

I just fancy us to win.

Every game IS a must win no matter if it prem, CL, FA cup. We are a massive club! The hole adding pressure is nonsense these are elite very very well paid players who have played and won the biggest games that you can in football. A pressure job to me would be a doc or nurse that has to decide who gets the oxygen and lives and who doesn’t and dies.
Sorry rant over.

I’d like to think the players and management go into every game thinking it’s a must win. I don’t think I’ve ever seen us set up for a draw under Klopp so surely he must think their must wins.
