Understand if it's not a subject you want to bring up Ed's but what is the plans with this proposed European super league? Is it to replace the champions league? Seen the premier league have already come out strong against it is there anything stopping teams legally from signing up to this type or any other new proposed competition?

{Ed002's Note - I have explained that there have been numerous options discussed and have explained the ramifications and this is just another option that is on the table for now. Nothing will happen over night and there are huge legal issues that would need to be addressed. There will be a push by some clubs to make the Champions League a closed shop to some extent and this will be used to leveerage they situation with UEFA.}

Thanks Ed. A closed shop champions league will quickly become boring in my opinion. Shame the powers that be seem to be positioning against each other guess it is ultimately a business in the end.
