The danger now of course is that FSG can't sell and instead just decide to bleed us dry until someone buys the club. No more transfers, no competitive wages.

They are businessmen and were always in this for the money, if they can't get the super League and can't sell the club the only other way to make money is to take whatever profits we make and siphon it out of the club.

But if we are not in the CL there won’t be any money to take out.

Why would they do that? They need to protect their assets.

Spot on. Now they'll have "Massive excuse' of not signing quality players or even renewing player's contract who are already on massive wages.

Genuinely don’t see many being able to afford it, perhaps a Chinese company could benefit from buying and increasing the brand out there to make it a worth while investment. No idea, it is the beginning of the end tho in many ways even with a u turn klopp and players will be hurt.

We are screwed because if they stay we are the “outcasts”, potentially kicked out of the League and Europe. Not to mention the fact that they won’t be heavily investing, especially after this whole mess. Best case scenario, which has been explained will be difficult due to valuation of the club. But, that is finding a buyer and the new owners coming in a trying to wipe the slate clean and mend bridges with other clubs and authorities.

{Ed002's Note - How about a North Korean dictator who could pay to relocate the club. Lovely grey kit with gold stars and red piping.}
