So according to the media over last 12 months we've been linked with these defenders and I reckon we need 2 of them. For me I'd be happy with Kounde and Schuurs

Shame. I liked the look of schuurs alot. However I think the rise of nat means we only really need one more to replace matip. That replacement does need to be of a very high quality though. Imagine varane and vvd with nat and gomez on bench.

i rather not we sign Kabak, Konate fair enff, but Nathan phillips i like the lad, made amends for his deflection last week.

Apparently we’re not taking up the option on Kabak and for the life of me I can’t see how we can get a deal for Konate off the ground, RBL want the full fee up front which we cannot do, all of which has a distinctly strong whiff of Timo Werner about it. Spend lots of time talking to the player and his reps. Only to then not talk to the club and not have the money when it comes to making an offer and he ends up elsewhere.
