I'd like to see a bit more of Ox next season if he's back to full fitness / confidence.

He gives us something different with his shooting and bit of pace. I'd even consider putting him up top to give Bobby a rest for a spell.

What do you lot reckon? When he's been fit he's been great but not sure where his best position is.

{Ed025's Note - his best position pompey...is on the bench, impact sub at best these days and has never really recovered from his injury, mind you i would have him in before bobby mate....saying that i would have maupay in before him.. :)

Love the lad but his best position is at another club! He’s in a massive wage and keeps the physio dept busy that’s about it!

Bobby Firmino 36 games, 9 goals, 6 assists. The great Richarlison 34 games, 7 goals, 3 assists. Just saying like 😀.

Just saying Bobby at his absolute worst is still more productive than the clown Richarlison? i agree Irish!

I don't remember the Ox being great for us. Or being great anywhere else, for that matter.

I’ll always remember Ox for the quality and desire to impact. The CL campaign he was involved in and including that game which caused that season+ injury, he was mocking the transfer from Arsenal. Their fans were spitting at the driving quality he was showing. But yeah that injury did end it for him tbh. Another but, that injury was giving 100% for LFC. So I’m against any negative comments towards Ox. He’d not chose to be injured or make a handful of appearances for us. If he can get a move that suits him and us. Only best wishes. If he stays then it’s fingers crossed it works out.

Hey Irish Rover, you can’t do that. Why are you using facts against Ed25? You know that’s not allowed on here. We have seen Bobbie at his peak (27 goals in all comps in 17/ 18) and Richarlison at his best, is nowhere near him BUT again, why use facts and numbers?

{Ed0666's Note - personally I think Eds 025 fancies Bobby and putting him down is his way of showing it. He doesent want anyone picking up the scent. You solved the mystery without scooby and scrappy do.

Ed666, I think he does fancy him. In the podcasts, I heard him bashing Bobbie and you and Ed01 were losing it cos it seemed Ed25 had no idea who and what Bobbie was and does. Prolly faking it.

{Ed0666's Note - don’t be surprised if bobby divorces his wife and shacks up with Eds 025 mate. Love is blind as they say.

I think Ox is a brilliant person, and had a fantastic spell for us at one point before the injury, but it’s been some time before he’s impacted a game for us and I would hardly call him a great goalscorer (that long strike against Man City aside! ) . Replace Firmino? No chance.

Like it.

Wonder if ed will reply to this.

{Ed025's Note - i must admit i do like bobby, and although he is a terrible footballer he comes across as a really nice guy wiltshire, unfortunately if the rumours were true it would cause devastation to the female population of merseyside mate and would be akin to the death of rudolf valentino.. :)

Call me a idealist but I actually think he could have an impact this season. he is homegrown so I don't forsee him being sold, prior to the injury season before he was excellent. as Grobs tash states it allowed the midfield 3 to be more dynamic and he was on same wavelength with salah. it also allowed a slight shift in formation to almost 442 - mane left, ox right and salah up front. We played West ham away I think and it was his best game. ED25 is just an advocate of getting rid as that's his plan for Everton - out with the old etc and who could blame him!

{Ed025's Note - your right ben, my view is there should be no sentiment in football mate and if they are not up to the task ...get rid..

Ed25's negative posts about Bobby are the proverbial punch to the shoulder schoolkids give to their crush.

{Ed025's Note - im admitting to nothing faith.. :)

If we could get decent money I’d sell him and invest in building the squad. I like him but he’s to injury prone and not getting any younger.
