I've always wondered whether footballers actually get paid weekly or monthly.
We always talk about salaries per week but payment runs that frequently aren't common in business. Could you enlighten me please?

Probably broken down weekly as the figures are already astronomical.

Imagine breaking it down to monthly, £250k a week players are a £1m a month!

Obviously my wages were not comparable to a PL footballers, but when I worked in Oz and NZ, I was always paid weekly. Was so much better than a monthly pay cheque and now I'm back in Europe. I'm back on monthly and can't stand it!

I’d be happy with a League One or Two average weekly wage 😂😂.
