The more I see of Isak the better he looks, definitely a star for the future.

Showed some flashes but I wouldn't go rushing to buy him just yet.

More determination and strength than anything most of the time although 2 nice moments in the box.

Also had moments of walking around and throwing his hands up in the air although some of Swedens passing was absolutely horrendous to be fair.

Hard to get a feel for his touch and building attacks with teammates from this game.

Also a player like him has to be good in the air and scoring from headers. Again Hard to judge in this game because Olsen couldn't hit the ball within twenty yards of a yellow Jersey.

You did say "the more I see" though so appreciate you ve seen the sides of his game this game failed to show.

Dortmund have a buy back clause I think.

If they bring in all that money from Haaland and then quickly bring in Isak. I will have to take my hat off to them for awesome planning.

{Ed077's Note - Dortmund do indeed have a €30m buy back clause for Isak.

17 goals in La Liga last season suggests there’s a good striker there. Certainly more than his opposite number for Spain has ever managed.

Jury still way out on isak I think. Reminds me of our very own david ngog to be honest, and that's not a compliment. The guy has pace yes, but makes wrong moves off his marker, can't shoot great, not clinical yet, lightweight and not a real predatory positional instinct in the box like fowler or suarez had. This is just my opinion having seen and followed him based on yesterday's game only. He has a reputation and scoring in la liga suggests I am completely wrong, but only based on last night's game, I believe he is nowhere near (yet) a class quality top striker.

Isak is a talent, no doubt and I love watching him. Still needs to do more in terms of his output and decision-making. Top talent, no doubt.

Kingkev, you can’t compare a player to David ngog after watching him play ONE game, that is outrageous haha. Plus he was probably one of the better players on the pitch and gave the Spain defenders a nightmare at times.

You're right bigvirg. I did repeat lots of times that I was judging him based on one game. Physically, he did remind me of ngog though. And when he completely scuffed an open goal in six yard box, flashes of ngog came back. Listen, he must have something to have scored 17 in la liga last season but definitely didn't bring his a game yesterday. But neither did entire Swedish team. They were negative and shockingly poor passers of the ball. Hopefully more to come from the lad though.
