Hi eds2
Am sorry if this has been covered before. Am interested in our finances compared to the other top 6 clubs. Obviously the C.V. has hit every club in the prem/ world and I understand that we owe money’s for jota and TA. How would Man U be able to afford Sancho + other players. City buying Kane and.

{Ed002's Note - Manchester United and Manchester City are better placed financially than Liverpool and will be selling to hep with the buying. Arsenal would be a better example, they are buying players and the books still need to be balanced so they will need to sell in order to do this - but are trying very hard. Chelsea had significant income from sales when the went on a spending spree last summer.}

How come Chelsea can get significantly higher income for player sales and we always get accused for asking to much for our players.

{Ed0666's Note - I had a good beef Wellington yesterday

Tbf Chelsea’s loan army continues to just slowly partially fund summers. Likes of Moses, bakayoko etc who can fetch some income.

Eds, maybe this has been covered but are we not seeing any of the Redbird investment coming into the club? I get City's deep pockets but surely Henry is in a similar position to the Glazers? Where does United's money come from? For all the complaining their fans do, the Glazers have pumped some serious coin into the playing staff.

{Ed002's Note - That is not additional money, it is the owners selling part of the business. Clubs have to be self-sufficient and there is a limit to what monies the owners can add to that within FFP.}

Just curious ed, are Liv still overpricing our players? i read in arsenal page that they have come to term with the need to be more realistic with their players price. have Liv realise that?

{Ed002's Note - Yes.}

Acered, Chelsea are much better at this than we are. We price our castoffs out of moves instead of taking the best deal we can get for them and move on. Don't know how Chelsea does it or if they do it BUT clearly, they are doing something we are not doing.

Probably because the overpricing has worked wonders in the past. £24m for Sakho, £28m for Benteke, £12m for Allen, £6m for Brad Smith, £15m for Ibe and £19m for Solanke to name a few! The board are probably stuck in their ways because of them!

Im sorry to bother you again ed but im a little bit dumb. which part is a yes? Liv still overpricing our players or Liv setting more realistic price on our players?

{Ed002's Note - Yes to both.}
