Good luck to Paul Glatzel who will spend the coming season on loan at Tranmere.

I truly hope the player can enjoy a injury free season whilst scoring some confidence boosting goals.

He will learn more from playing competitive football and this is a move that suits both parties.

Honestly I thought he was supposed to be a better standard than League 2. I thought if we were going to loan him it would be to a lower Championship or Eredivisie team. Did I overestimate him?

Or is this move purely about getting guaranteed minutes in professional football due to the injury problems he's had and better is predicted for him in the future? Anyone got any intel on this one?

Rufus I’d assume it’s to get guaranteed game time a full season injury free will do wonders for him good luck to the lad.

No you didn’t underestimate him. He has has terrible injuries and now just needs time and games. If he is injury free he will prove himself at least top end championship level.

I personally think it is a great move for him, only down the road but he should be good enough to play regular mens physical football. Regular football is the best thing for him after his injury.
