I think the title will be a hard shout this year, with Chelsea and City looking strong. Get a good start though and put the pressure on. Can’t wait to hear YNWA being sung at anfield.

Need to get off to a fast start. Playing catchup with this City team is almost impossible. Chelsea early on will be a good game to judge where we are.

Am looking forward to it too. Feels like it has been a long time going into a game with a team that isn't patched up.

Whilst the rivals will be spending on top quality again, I don't fear other teams whilst we still have Klopp at the helm.

But we do need some fresh faces in.

Not too sure OMM, Brazil are doing well in the Copa America and there are some still involved with the Euro’s (Thiago, Henderson) . Think it’s normally two weeks holiday, but could be wrong on that.

Guessing not a lot of fitness works will be needed, just a matter of recuperation and rest before we go again.

I never watch pre season friendlies, but I might this season, really want to see if VVD, Gomez and Matip are able to move about with confidence in themselves. If they pick up where they left off then we are well in with a shout at the title.

I read somewhere that Klopp wanted to give each player 3 weeks off before starting pre-season training. The biggest sigh of relief is Salah not going to the Olympics.

Sigh of relief for us but salah isn't too impressed with liverpool not allowing him to go as per his national team coach.
