Good morning all.

I've said this before I think Matheus Pereira is a great player someone who could enhance our team/ bench/ squad wouldn't cost a packet after West Brom's regelation don't know if he'd be interested in a bit part at Liverpool but I think he would flourish at a better club only 25yrs old and can play midfield or up top. Be interested to hear fans views on him and if he'd fit our style of play but if we could get him or someone like him and Bissuoma to add to Konate and obviously off load those that either aren't good enough or are never going to make it at Liverpool then I'd be well happy with our summer window. What do eds think his valuation would be and would he be a viable option I thought he was emmence for West brom anytime I watched him play not HG but would fit in well with his Brazilian brothers and would definitely give us more goals.

Cheers

YNWA.

{Ed001's Note - he doesn't press and won't press. He also won't train if he doesn't like the training. Not a chance he would last under Klopp.}

Good morning Ed1 did she kick you out of the bed this morning or what your on the ball early mate😉I didn't realise he was so lazy ed1 and a pre Madonna ah well he's definitely not Liverpool or klopp material so, pity as he could have great potential but guess his attitude to everything stinks so that won't be happening. Anyone realistically that you'd like Liverpool to buy for up top that floats your boat be interested to hear mate and really appreciate your insight and quick response. Hope you have a great day Ed1 keep up the super work.

Cheers

{Ed001's Note - I have been up for hours mate, I always am. It is not that he is lazy, he will work incredibly hard on what he wants to do, it is just he refuses to work on defensive stuff etc. I can understand he wants to just get better at what he is good at, but it is a team game and you have to sometimes do what you don't want to or not good at for the sake of your mates in the team.

I would quite like us to have a look at that Harvey Elliott lad, I think he has a big future in the game so would love us to sign him.....}

If Liverpool do get Bissouma or similar, I’m wondering whether Klopp has two very distinct midfields in mind for different opponents?
One would be Fabinho and Thiago deeper with (Jones / Elliott / Firmino possibly as) an AM in a 4-2-3-1 style.
The other is a 4-3-3 with Fabinho, Henderson and Bissouma for instance.
Good rotation and Fabinho’s role could be covered by the two latter players as well.
Any thoughts Ed?

{Ed001's Note - that's exactly what Klopp has done since he arrived, so you would think so.}

Yes couldn't agree more ed Harvey has absolute great potential I just wonder if he will get enough game time to develop as he didn't get enough at the business end of the season when on loan at Blackburn.

Ed001 Harvey Elliot had a great loan last season I hope he goes on loan for another season. I don’t see him getting nowhere near as much football for us as he did at Blackburn last season. Would love a loan move to Germany for a season think he would rip it up there and do the lad great.

{Ed001's Note - he needs to be playing for us regularly, not heading off on loan imo.}

Spot on, Ed. What would putting HE back out on loan prove at this point? Nothing, IMO. He needs to get his legs dirty in the real world i. e the PL. That is the ONLY way we will know if he is really good enuff.

It always makes me chuckle when I see “pre Madonna”. Is that like the pink rock movement of the 1970s? Or further back to the Beatles and Elvis? 🤷‍♂️😂.

What happened when the pink rock moved in the 70s, Zed. I’m too young to remember.

What is Harvey Elliot’s best position? I assumed it was RW or CAM but saw Ed001 suggest the other it could be striker, did he play that role at Blackburn?

{Ed001's Note - best position? Hard to say as he is still a kid and evolving his game, he mainly played RW at Blackburn but I think he would be very good in the Firmino false 9 role.}

I was also a bit too young, but I understand that the pink rock moved several inches overnight, which was regarded as a massive cultural phenomenon.

People flocked from all over the world to cast their eyes upon said rock. Babies were photgraphed next to the rock in the hope it would bless their lives, people were trying to get married near the rock to bless their union. The sick came to be healed by the rock.

Then a man from Jewsons picked the rock up to be delivered to Mrs Higginbotham at No 27, and everyone was very sad.

I am led to believe that the worldwide sadness at the removal of the rock led to, amongst other things, the oil crisis in the middle east and the Winter of Discount Tents, among other things.

I can imagine Curtis and Harvey linking up very well in the same team, Curtis at CAM and Harvey as false 9 or RW.
