Watching the vomits destroy Leeds on bt at the moment and what does worry me about them is that they are moving the ball really quickly and accurately, have to admit their midfield looks impressive they have added Varane to their defence and could potentially buy Saul. I know our 1st 11 can mix it with anyone but if you take Hendo and Fabinhio out of it we are very weak, people will say we only play utd twice a season and I know this but my point is that if we suffer one or two injuries in midfield we are in big trouble where I believe utd are a lot stronger cover wise. I would really like us to get a quality midfielder in if we possibly could and believe it will be a mistake if we don't. Whether you love them or hate them Pogba (4 assists ) and rat boy (hat trick 3) that's some return from your midfield in all fairness.

Take Henderson and Fabinho out of the equation and our midfield is almost non existent. Imagine going into any premier league match with a midfield of Milner, Keita and Ox, it’s certainly not a line up that you’d expect to get a result with. The thing that worries me is both Henderson and Fabinho aren’t what you’d call robust or bullet proof so it’s almost inevitable that they’re going to be missing at some point in the season.

I mean we haven't lost to United in the league for a fair few years now. Even last season when we didn't have a senior CB and were playing fairly badly we still beat their best team for years rather convincingly.

Ok maybe I didn't explain things very clearly, I don't have a fixation with utd or who they buy but I do love it when they lose, what I should have said was that they have like in the fergie days, added 2 quality players to their team/ squad. We have been very fortunate to have been dining at the top table for the last 3 to 4 yrs, but to continue to do so you have to replace old with new or weaker players with better ones. Our failure to replace Lovern last season cost us dearly I just hope that this is enough to justify getting an upgraded quality player in this time to replace Gini if finances allow of course or we could start to see those below us last year climbing over us and leaving us behind. I don't want to be in the wilderness for another 30 yrs I probably won't see another 30yrs so it's imperative that we add quality each season if we can so the recent glory days remain with us for seasons to come.

{Ed0666's Note - I’m not sure we’ll be in the wilderness for 30 years if we don’t replace Gini mate. To be fair IF we don’t sign a midfielder weve got Naby, Jones and Elliot to do Gini’s job, hopefully they can fill his boots.

Apparently Sanches is out again with another injury (strained thigh), surely that should be warning enough to avoid him like the plague. I can’t see it being even remotely sensible to sign someone so fragile for such stupid money.

As for the United game, all I saw was the fighting between the fans that kicked off before the game. United will probably fall off when Pogba inevitably gets bored again.

I picked leeds for relegation battle this season. Solid performance from manU but tbh I only watched highlights. I wouldn't get too carried away aboit individual results and / or performances tho. Live with a little less stress lol.
