Lets be honest guys we have bombed in this transfer window. It has been fairly crazy to be honest this summer and we have missed good chances to sign some players due to our inability to move some.
Lets manage our expectations and support the team, other 3 clubs are incredibly strong now and we are looking definitely a couple of players short.
Here's hoping that atleast one of our youngsters just grabs this opportunity by the throat and sails us to the title.
And well if not its definitely going to be one firefight of a season. I just hope we don't lose our way and remain in the mix till may 22.

I find this perspecrive incredily depressing. ManU and chelsea both have been playing catch-up and we are in a position where there isn't too much juggling we can do. I'm on board the train and have much more faith in our currentngroup who have been togethet for 3-4 years now versus bringing in a player who, as history shows, would take most ofnthe season to adjust to our style.

Let's go. Exciting to have CR7 back in the league too!

Its hard to overlook it. Look at the joy a new good signing brings.
It just inspires and brings a new positive atmosphere. Most of all it boosts the morale in the camp.
And football is like 50 percent having that good feeling.
I am not saying it has anything to do with how we will perform but its about moving forward. And new faces help with that.
If we got saul don't tell entire page won't be over the moon, its just that feeling.

Let’s be honest, lots of people get a bigger high over transfers than actually watching football matches. At least you can admit this.

each to their own I suppose. The absence of a signing doesn't equate to an absence of joy to me. Especially when we already have a fantastic squad as it is.

Akria we have a new signing! Remember Konate. And I get more joy out of watching the likes of Elliot progress and grab a place than I do signing a new player.

No doubt we still have a strong squad but it would be hubris to suggest the signings our rivals have made have not made at least two of them significantly stronger and this is a concern. Yes we will challenge but I can understand the bleating. Personally I don't care just happy to see the crowds back and my beloved team playing again, but I'm also realistic and admit it will be difficult to reach the summit this season in both the CL and Premier league. Hopefully klopp takes one of the minor cups seriously so we maximise the chance on winning something this year.

{Ed025's Note - you will definitely get a trophy this year IAC, klopp is firm favourite for whinger of the year after last weeks performance mate.. :)

Whinger, no, he is trying to be psychological as you suggested on the podcast ed. He is setting us up to be the underdogs again which is where this team operates at its best, we saw their concentration waver when the league was sown up and lost their way. He wants to put his players back in a place where they feel they need to prove something. We will definitely challenge but there will be no 20 point gap at the top this season, it will be down to the wire.

{Ed025's Note - it will go down to the wire IAC i agree, but jurgen was trying the old mind games with the crying about over physicality from burnley mate, it was actually embarrassing..

The only thing embarrassing was watching grown men chopping down a kid.
