I'm sure there are a few that will agree, but I have to pinch myself everyday to know that we have Jurgen klopp as our manager. Not bothered if or who we buy, the guy works with what he's got and does great.
I'm looking forward to the new season and genuinely think we will compete on all fronts.
Just enjoy the few years left we have of Jurgen as it may not be as much fun if and when he leaves. We've been spoilt last few years, and our rivals are buying to try and overtake us, not compete. They know that having jurgen as out manager is a massive boost.

Finally, a wise post.

{Ed014's Note - there’s been a few Salah but most drowned in that massive ocean of self pity and despair that’s flooded this page.

It’s been truly painful to edit. 😫

Klopp has taken us from the top 8 mess Rodgers left us in, to consistent title contenders capable of finishing 3rd without our best midfielders or centre backs. You only have to go back to 2014-2015, for a time where our whole season hinged on the fitness of Daniel Sturridge.

We've gone from a back 5 of Markovic/ Ibe, Can, Toure, Sakho and Moreno to a back 4 of Trent, Matip, Virgil and Robbo. From praying Coutinho scored a screamer or Sturridge was fit, we now have Mane, Jota, Firmino and Salah all capable of match winning moments of brilliance.

What Klopp has already done for us is amazing and I strongly believe we'll win another 3 or 4 trophies before he hangs up his LFC cap in 2024.

I’d maybe accept your point if you hadn’t mentioned Markovic and Ibe as part of a back four. Are you sure you’ve ever watched Liverpool play?

Klopps been the best thing to happen to this club in 30 years. Yes we won things under Houlier and Rafa but Klopp has won it all whilst entertaining us. And on a fractional budget of other clubs.

Redmersey, you obviously have bad memory and eyesight. A) Rodgers absolutely 100% played Markovic, Ibe and even Sterling at right wing back B) I clearly wrote back 5.

Little advice, you should check your facts before you try and get smart.

REDMERSEY he said "We've gone from a back 5 of Markovic/ Ibe, Can, Toure, Sakho and Moreno" not back 4. xD.

Red Mersey, admittedly, Markovic and Ibe were more suited as wingers but they were utilised, on ocassions, as wing backs. I think MK is highlighting extremes woth those two, but Can as a CB was something more commonplace in his final season.

Considering even Bobby was played at right wing back I'm pretty sure the only requirement Rodgers had was that you had to have a right foot to play there.

Yeah it was shocking zpecialone. Markovic, Ibe and Sterling played about 30 games between them that season as right or left wing backs. I nearly lost the will to watch football!

BobbyF is correct, i was highlighting the extremes to show how bad things sometimes were to how good things are now. Take last season for example where everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. Yet we still finished 3rd in the end. It's a remarkable turnaround to when we needed everything to go right to get near the top 4.

Fully agree, MK and JK23. BR was very incompetent and had a huge lack of humility and maturity as a manager and he could have won that title in 13/ 14 had he remained humble and smart instead of always having to make things about himself.

On the topic, I remember when Ancelotti was approached as well as Klopp and I said I wanted Klopp all day over him. I will be forever grateful to John W Henry for allowing himself to be convinced to hire Klopp against his initial concerns cos heaven knows where we would have been had we taken in someone else BUT I guess FSG Out, init?

Our Klopp is a gem despite his flaws and the moment he came in, LFC became better for it right there. It took a while and some serious setbacks BUT he got us to the promise land while playing the best footie I have ever seen in the PL. Let’s just enjoy his presence while he’s still here and hope he can bring us more PL/ CL glory. Bravo, Herr Klopp.

{Ed0666's Note - an elite said no to us mate.

Ed666, I don’t understand your response, sorry.

{Ed0666's Note - I just read my response I don’t think Alan Turing would have understood it 😂. Sorry mate I meant to say Ancelotti refused us.
