Good win, but I’m absolutely gutted for Harvey Elliot. 18 and he’s been quality. Praying it’s a dislocation which could be 3/ 4 months, but it looked nasty from one look on TV.
He’s done it against Burnley and was trusted against Chelsea too, really been the bright spark for us so far, and looked better each game. Seems like a good lad too, hoping he’s back stronger soon!

I agree. He seems like a good lad and it's unfortunate he's injured this seriously and this early in the season. He's been a mini revelation so far. I hope keita and chamberlain can step up and prove their worth in his absence.

I’m not 100% but i thought a dislocation was worse than a break or fracture due to the ligament, nerve, blood vessel and skin damage a dislocation will cause.

Let's hope the ankle is realigned quickly into socket and it can just naturally heal, he is young and is with expert medical team so God willing its a natural process.
Don't forget we have curtis jones another young lad very similar position to elliot who has to step up alongside the other midfield options.

I believe ankle dislocations are in the region of 3 months or so, which if you had surgery on an ankle ligament would be about the same time as well. That is not as bad as a leg break or serious knee injury, which for reference are incidents like the Eduardo, Ramsey or Ox injuries where players are out for over a year and may never come back the same player. It looks like the stuff of nightmares when you see it initially but if that is indeed what he has done then the bigger picture could be a lot worse. Hopefully it won’t have any lasting effect on the trajectory of his career and we could see him back in the new year, fingers crossed.

Wasn't expecting an update until the swelling went down and a CT scan was done. This will help develop him mentally and he has a great network of players around him to help support him and the best supporters in the world wishing him well.

Fully agree, Redscarface. The kid will be fine. He has a good entourage at the club to help him thru this long and arduous road back to fitness.
