I’ve thought for some time that this current Man Utd team resembles their late 1970s / 80s versions; some very good individual players and can beat anyone on their day, making them a good cup side.
But lack the consistency to win the league title.

Indeed, Ed25. These big rivalry games never turn out the way they are “supposed” to go with the form team always winning. We have battered Utd multiple times even tho they were going to win the title so we know what can happen. I just hope we go in there and just play the fake, not the occasion. We play to our strengths, we beat them. We don’t then, we won’t. Just facts.

I think that's what he's saying Ed. Rival fixtures tend to completely ignore form. Remember when United were in their pomp and we were medicore, we still used to beat them, convincingly in some games.

if they play like they did in the last 2 games we will destroy them. I think Ole will go back to getting most of the team behind the ball hoping to catch us on the break. Last week at Leicester you could see Ole is the worst manager in the league they looked like a team with different tactics all over the pitch there defence was playing deep some players pressing and the forwards doing what they wanted. As good as Ronaldo was he will score plenty of goals still but in today’s football you can’t have a passenger that only works one way. It would have been good to see him at city just to see him and Pep and loggerheads.
