I don’t understand how City keep getting away with this. Surely It’s got to be bribing at this point? It seems it’s happening every week but That could get Everton relegated.

26 Feb 2022 19:42:58
Everton will NOT get relegated.

2.) 26 Feb 2022
26 Feb 2022 19:43:50
FC8 I was thinking the same thing it’s disgusting bet the people in the car studio have a better bank balance after every city game.

3.) 26 Feb 2022
26 Feb 2022 19:44:14
That was a point blank handball. Corruption at its worst point. The Sheikh has definitely paid off the Refs 100%.
Worst refereeing decision I have seen in a long long time.

4.) 26 Feb 2022
26 Feb 2022 19:53:08
Corruption? Bribery? Paid off the refs? Really? Get a grip, please.

5.) 26 Feb 2022
26 Feb 2022 20:00:05
We have had decisions for and against us but call a spade a spade and that's handball. That could have big implications for Everton just as much as us.

Wasn't there one pretty much identical last week for city? Naff all consistency.

But these things even themselves out so in theory city are due one against them, hopefully against united next week.

Everton deserved the draw but we can only concentrate on ourselves and on to the next.

6.) 26 Feb 2022
26 Feb 2022 20:08:29
It was apparently offside before the handball.

7.) 26 Feb 2022
26 Feb 2022 20:15:35
TJ that's pep deflecting the PGMOL put out the green and red body parts picture and said it wasn't conclusive and that's the reason it wasn't given.

The offside looked tight but it didn't even look like it was checked. They kept zooming on the arm and didn't rewind it back.

8.) 26 Feb 2022
26 Feb 2022 20:19:13
Everton won’t get relegated? Says who rigsby?

9.) 26 Feb 2022
26 Feb 2022 20:24:23
Disgraceful decision.
This cannot continue to go on.
Either VAR must be taken to task or Kavannah.

Something is not right here.

10.) 26 Feb 2022
26 Feb 2022 20:28:37
Same ref and VAR ref combo that denied Jota a pen at Spurts. Four point swing.

11.) 26 Feb 2022
26 Feb 2022 20:30:32
Both Tierney and Kavanaugh from Manchester too.

12.) 26 Feb 2022
26 Feb 2022 20:31:44
1977 it’s getting worse every week Southampton walker gives away pen and sent off var Wolves handball clearly hits his ribs var does nothing today the Arsenal game. That is not even its self out they was all awful decisions in there favour.

13.) 26 Feb 2022
26 Feb 2022 20:45:22
Grino, bad decisions, I agree. Corruption and bribery, I'm not having it. We've had stuff go our way too. I was screaming today that pen wasn't given, but let's have a sense of perspective.

14.) 26 Feb 2022
26 Feb 2022 20:42:13
It’s a shocking decision but it changes nothing we still need to win every game🤬.

15.) 26 Feb 2022
26 Feb 2022 20:42:45
Aye Grino that penalty at Wolves was wild, never touched his arm, every replay vlearly showed that yet where was VAR?

Everton denied a stonewall penalty today, where was VAR?

In fairness, we all look at the stonewall Jota one and combined with that Wolves fiasco is a good points swing City's way, but groans etc aside, what is the actual point of VAR if it misses the clear and obvious examples given here?

16.) 26 Feb 2022
26 Feb 2022 20:56:12
1977 Was it the spurs game when things went are way the West Ham game where there left back got to go in this day and age or the palace game where was 1-2 in the lead that’s the only one gone are way for the pen.
The Jota pen v spurs my mate who is a spurs fan messaged me straight away saying that’s awful 200% pen. It’s definitely not even its self out.

17.) 26 Feb 2022
26 Feb 2022 21:15:54
The thing is at some point it becomes “what is going on? ” Officials make bad calls it’s part of the game, VAR is meant to reduce it but when you see a situation like that and say it’s not a handball? Because of the sleeve? Maybe we should start measuring sleeves then. Seriously, they have rules in ice hockey on the size of the lads etc for goal keepers. A team can make everyone’s sleeve a wee bit longer now if that’s going to be the measure by what makes a handball. I would hope it’s not corrruption but there is a ton of money involved and that’s where it tends to grow from.

18.) 26 Feb 2022
26 Feb 2022 21:17:01
Richarlison was offside, it doesn't matter what anyone else does, it's in our hands.

{Ed025's Note - your wrong MR, that was after the handball mate..

19.) 26 Feb 2022
26 Feb 2022 21:35:56
Grino, all l'm saying is I don't believe corruption and bribery are involved.

20.) 26 Feb 2022
26 Feb 2022 21:45:03
Ed025 it was up there with the wolves pen as the 2 worst decisions I have seen this season.
Even Lampard said afterwards if it’s not incompetence then what is it and I don’t think it was incompetence city got out of the FFP rule break somehow and these decisions are going in there favour to often to be a coincidence especially when none ever go against them.

{Ed025's Note - it was chronic grino, i dont like saying words like corruption and cheating...but it was mate..

21.) 26 Feb 2022
26 Feb 2022 22:00:27
I’d rather revert back to no VAR after today’s blatant one. Complete Headscratcher, why not even ask the ref to look at it on the screen is baffling.

22.) 26 Feb 2022
26 Feb 2022 22:10:13
I thought it was a disgraceful decision.
BUT nothing has changed. We still need to get even with city to beat them on points.
Which would be very sweet I think.

23.) 26 Feb 2022
26 Feb 2022 22:50:42
Of course it changes things. City draw today means we could afford to draw a game too.

24.) 26 Feb 2022
26 Feb 2022 23:21:35
What’s the point of var? That was more a pen than the 2 we got v Leeds. He moved his arm to the ball.

25.) 26 Feb 2022
26 Feb 2022 23:32:06
Surprised we’ve never had a discussion this long when a decisions gone out way 🙄.

26.) 26 Feb 2022
26 Feb 2022 23:44:14
JK I have never seen us get a decision that is that blatantly incorrect. I can handle the subjective ones that we think are penalties but there’s a small element of doubt. You might think his arm is in a natural position but I don’t kind of things.
This one today though he actually moved his arm towards the ball to control it after he misjudged the spin on the ball. It was as clear a handball as you will ever see and the only reason the VAR could possibly have for not giving it is that he’s been paid off.
There is simply no other explanation.

27.) 26 Feb 2022
26 Feb 2022 23:46:47
Get a grip JK this was one of the worst decisions in the history of the PL. It could cost Everton and could cost us. You will be the first to complain if we lose the league by 2 points.

28.) 27 Feb 2022
27 Feb 2022 00:21:12
Everybody gets decisions for and against them but in all honesty I struggle to think of a time city had a game cha going decision for against them. I don’t think it’s bribery etc i think too many officials AJ e a weird obsession with pep and his ‘style’ just like pundits and media do. City play really boring football, peps great but I probably wouldn’t be half bad whacking what a billion on players. I actually feel sorry for Everton the most, they played well enough for. A draw today and it could be a result that helps send them down. Refereeing is dreadful, I’m sick of excuses, people saying oh it’s hard. They’re paid handsomely to do a job. The referee in his defence wasn’t at fault it was BAR for not telling him to look i guess. As for an offside, it wasn’t I got my sharpies out, fine that lads. Ah well we jsut have to wait an extra week to take over them.

29.) 27 Feb 2022
27 Feb 2022 00:33:17
I’m no bluenose, but that decision re the penalty is a disgrace. Either the official is corrupt or totally incapable of doinylg that job. Disgusting.

30.) 27 Feb 2022
27 Feb 2022 00:33:26
Mark if City win the league it’s tainted for me. They are a great side. A really great side. They don’t need help from officials to win football matches but they are getting it.
It’s much cheaper to bung a ref £50k a game than pay £120m plus a huge salary for Kane. Basic economics.

31.) 27 Feb 2022
27 Feb 2022 00:46:02
Agreed the decision is an embarrassment. Corruption it has to be as that was impossible to miss even at full speed first time.

32.) 27 Feb 2022
26 Feb 2022 23:28:09
I’m going to say it Ed25. That was 100% corruption. Those who are saying it was offside in the build up, it wasn’t. That much has been confirmed by the ref.
VAR said they couldn’t be 100% sure it was handball. WHAT?! If that’s a genuine opinion you shouldn’t be refereeing an under 7s sunday league never mind a premier league match! Why not let the ref have a look? He said he was the wrong side of the player so couldn’t see it.
Because he knows if the ref sees it he’ll have no choice but to give a pen and he won’t get his ‘bonus’.
At this point to not think the premier league is corrupt is very naive in my opinion. It 100% is. There’s no other explanation for what I saw today and when you add in the Wolves penalty and Arsenal the truth is staring you in the face.
This isn’t bitterness talking this is anger. We all spend our hard earned money to support our team and we all live for our club. All we ask for is as level a playing field as is possible and we are just not getting that.
VAR couldn’t wait to gift City an equaliser against Spurs last week with a handball decision that was 50/ 50. Today’s handball was 100% nailed on handball. It was as obvious a handball as you will ever see and they didn’t even ask the ref to have a look.
I’m ranting because I’m angry and I feel cheated. I’d love to say rant over but I know I’ll be ranting for a good while yet!

{Ed025's Note - it has happened to us 2 weeks on the trot BP, is it cheating?...it bloody well feels like it mate..

33.) 27 Feb 2022
27 Feb 2022 07:16:54
Ed25, do you think it is corruption?

{Ed025's Note - i do actually marty..

34.) 27 Feb 2022
27 Feb 2022 09:20:08
From who in particular? Surely this has to be looked at by the authorities? Unless its them who is corrupt.

35.) 27 Feb 2022
27 Feb 2022 10:29:11
JK, enuff with the milky mouthed rhetoric of “decisions went our way too”. I challenge you to name the decisions that blatantly went our way like the ones City have had gone their way vs Saints where VAR overturned a red card and pen for Walker that would have given Saints all the points, vs Wolves with the ghost pen on Moutinho and then yesterday so we can actually dissect them. I’ll wait.
