Ed 006, how'd you enjoy your Coachella weekend? Did you manage to see Sama? After the horror show of trying to get into Yuma on Friday, we had no troubles to get in to see her set. My gf and her friends LOVED her. We went back on Sunday to see Fatboy Slim and oh my word, it was such an amazingly sweaty 1.5hr, I am absolutely knackered today as a result.

{Ed0666's Note - hey mate glad you and you're girl had a good one. I thought the event was thoroughly disorganized but it was another bucket list item realised. Sama wasn’t bad but I thought ANNA, Nixxon and Chris Siebring were better which was ironic as I went to see Sama! I realized her sound is a little bit too trancy for my liking but she will be a massive star. I loved all the Jordanian flags in the sparse crowd tho that made me chuckle. She also was a victim of bad scheduling. 3.15pm??? I saw the lines to Yuma they really did look brutal. We were extremely fortunate to have VIP so we escaped the chaos. To be honest we didn’t go on Sunday as we were so tired from Friday & Saturday. Did you see Harry Stiles or Billy Eilish…? How was your drive back home we got stuck in a 6 hour traffic jam back to LA..now that wasn’t fun. Rest well and enjoy the feast of goals tonight mate.

Day 1 was an absolute shambles. What baffled me was the lack of signage. We were so confused as to where to go for the first half day, especially the with the water fountains. The lineup for YUMA was a joke and made everyone especially made, even more so once you got in and realized how empty it is. I've been to many venues in London with large indoor crowds (printworks, tabacco docks, etc) and they all manage perfectly well so not sure why it's so difficult here.

3:15pm was an odd time but it worked well for us. We stayed for Paco Osuna which was pretty great. Overall, I felt the sound was god awful. They managed to fix it on Sunday it seemed like but I couldn't tell one song from another in her set which was a shame.

Both Friday and Saturday we skipped out early so we watched both Harry and Billie from the comforts of our airbnb and jacuzzi. Sunday was the best day of the lost and I would strongly suggest watching Fred. again's set. He was unbelievable. At the start of the show he had some visuals of the overground passing through Hackney Wick which is my old neck of the woods and it brought a little tear to my eye. It was so unbeliebaly hot I thought i was going to pass out though.

Our drive back on Monday was a nightmare as well - 4.5hrs to LAX and our friends missed their flight back to NY. We managed to get to ours just in the nick of time. I'm glad I went to Coachella but don't think I need to do it again.

{Ed0666's Note - yeh mate I concur with you I won’t be doing Coachella again. It was expensive, amateur organization and plenty of other things to do in life. So you think we’ll do the quad mate???

ahhhh I really hope so. I think we'll get the FA against Chelsea who have seemingly forgotten to defend which was their only saving grace.

I don't follow La Liga so I can't comment on the chances of Real against City in the semi's but I'm hoping for a little Moyes Magic or one of the other road games to trip them up. It would be gut wrenching to finish second by a point only, especially after that awful decision in the Everton game.

All i can do is cross my fingers and toes and hope for the best. What's your thoughts?
