A 7th European Cup would be a great end to the season. Regardless on anything. Pep is dying to win it and I don’t care what he or his players say. It’s all very well being a flat track bully and pumping all and sundry from 6th place onward for 4 or 5 goals every week, but until you go and win old big ears you can’t say you’re amongst the great sides. City can win all the trophies they want BUT they will NEVER get the respect and validation of others. Don’t believe me? Go listen to Pep’s comments after the game. Some of the most cringeworthy to bat crap crazy stuff I’ve ever heard from a manager who potentially just won the title.
