Does Salah play in Sunday in an attempt to secure the golden boot and risk aggrevating his injury. OR

Does Salah rest and ensure his 100% fit for next weekend.

I’d give everyone who we intend to play in the CL Final some game time against Wplves, if fit. I don’t think that means they should all start though and I think, as has been said, the medical team will have the word on if players are ready to play against Wolves.

@RedScarface, nobody said Salah is making demands. The OP suggested Salah would risk aggravating an injury to win the golden boot. It doesn’t work that way. If he is cleared by the medical team to play then it’s the coaching staff’s call on if he plays or not. If he isn’t fit the decision is the medical team’s. None of the players pick the team.

The team that starts on Sunday starts the final. Barring knocks in training or during the wolves match of course. Madrid are Madrid, huge club full of prestige but let's face it put the teams next to each other and we are much stronger. Full strength on Sunday and what will be will be then full strength next week and play the team and not the occasion and these amazing players bring home another trophy minimum.

I think it would be best if he could get a full rest before the final and maybe turn up against Madrid with his legs fully rested and with fire in his belly. He has looked fatigued both mentally and physically pretty much the whole calendar year. Jota on the right should see us get the job done.

I think what may happen, if Salah is fit, is to bring him on in the second half. Get his heart pumping fast for about 30 minutes or so. And then get him ready for the UCL final. We have others who can help get past Wolves with a win.
