I'm disappointed not to win the League, obviously, but this team deserves credit for getting 92 points.
It's a great time to be a Red and that's only tempered by City being so good.

Nobody will give us credit for getting 92 points. We can give ourselves a pat on the back but at the end of the day as good as we were city have done it again.

I prefer us losing the league how we did. Imagine city dropped points and we didn't put away wolves that would if really hurt.

That's the consolation from today, RedScarface; in terms of banter anyway.
No one can say we bottled it. Had City drawn or lost and we'd done the same it would have been difficult to take.
We did all we could.

Put it into context everyone.

For years we watched Manchester United and Arsenal battle it out whilst we toiled.

We have now finished a point behind City twice and on both occasions ended up with more points than either of those great teams ever have in a 38 game premier league season.

That is the quality of this title battle. The quality of this City squad.

You don’t win any prizes for finishing second but Liverpool should take immense pride for making a battle of it.

But look at the journey being runners up and acquiring 92 points has given us. All those wins, all those performances. 4-0 and 0-5 against United. City, Chelsea and Spurs couldn't manage a win against us between them. The last few games we've gone behind but we still find a way to win.
I've loved watching us this season. Some of the football we've played and the never say die attitude we've shown has made me proud of the team.
It wasn't quite enough to win the League but it's been a fantastic season and we more than played our part in it.

To be fair rigsby the line about city Chelsea spurs not being able to beat us could easily be we were not good enough to beat any team in the top 4 this season.
Just one win against any of them and we would have won the league.
