Hi Ed's. Hope your all well. If Mane does leave what would be your opinion around finding a new RW and moving Salah into the middle of the front 3. We've seen him there before and he scored goals. Be nice to see another live wire like Diaz on the RW. All in all I'll be heartbroken when Salah and Mane do go because the two of them and Bobby have created a legacy at Liverpool that is rare to see since watching the boys in the 80's. Statues pending for the 3 of them hopefully one day. Anyway if we did move Salah into the middle who would you like to see brought in to play on the RW. Thanks for your time and I hope everyone has had a lovely bank holiday.

Do you have any idea what the clubs intentions will be for them and other players not selected during the World Cup. It’s a 4-6 week window isn’t it? So could be a blessing in disguise with regards to them pair getting a mid season break as well as any other player who doesn’t get selected or we even see their country eliminated early.

{Ed001's Note - I believe they will get given a break and then it will be a mini pre-season for the players that are not at the World Cup. Just like a normal midseason break.}

Excited to see diaz after a full preseason I wonder if the coaching staff will get him to make runs like mane and salah between full back and center half as although he was great since he joined he tends to be out very wide and give him a lot of work to get a shot away and he camt cross because a lot of the time nobodys in the box.

OP, Salah has never started a game nor played 90 mins for us in the central role hence, not sure why people think he can play there despite the absence of evidence to back that up. If he could play there then surely, we would have seen it by now in the 5 years he’s been here.

I predicted this on here soon as Mane announced his decision to leave.
I think we’ll get Gnabry/ Dembele/ Bowen. Salah through middle. I seriously hope I’m wrong though we need a Center forward.

Salah through the middle makes no sense at all. He’s far better cutting in from wide positions. Square pegs and round holes. Notwithstanding the fact he should be transfer listed.

Salahs a top athletes and more than able to adapt his role. His RW position will become harder to maintain the older he gets as pace from that position is required. CF makes sense to me. Trust in Klopp however next season looks!
