Have always said that you want a home game to start PL with as every team with crowd behind them on opening day is tricky.

A win day one sets the tone for the rest of the season. Let's see what ManCity and us get heh at 9am?!

Am I crazy to want man City first up? Rip that plaster off and get it done.

Also just seen that the season only really starts a week early and a week later. To say that we miss about 6 weeks of fixtures due to the world Cup, fixture congestion is going to play a big part this year. It'll be interesting if C.V. or bad weather causes any postponements but there must be contingency built in.

Luckily all the players have had time to recover before going again, well done Fifa!

Maybe our squad depth will come in handy next season.

Trust a World Cup to interrupt the proper football it is scandalous hopefully this is the last thing me they attempt such an atrocity it must never have again. Anyone know when our pre season starts?

Fulham away first. Not great any game away first up but not as bad as ManCity away at hammers. Good to see ManU get their obligatory home game straight up to help build confidence.

or it could destroy there confidence 1jj. Nobody is scared of playing at OT anymore, and if they don't get off to a flying start the knives will start sharpening for Ten hag- they think they have there version of Klopp, they could have the Dutch version of david Moyes.

Do we always get a newly promoted team on opening day? Seems like it for the last few seasons now lol.
