God Ed’s, I know it’s not Liverpool related but I have been to the Olympic stadium in montjuic and I’m really surprised Barcelona will be using it, it’s small to say the least, 55k fans seems a stretch to me! For such a big club, what a financial hole they are in. It’s almost criminal that owners have been able to run up that amount of debt, I know it’s different there with elected presidents but wow.

I must have missed the mini deal being agreed aswell. Good luck the boy, lovely touch just seemed a bit light weight and lacking a hunger at times.

{Ed001's Note - Minamino lightweight? He was throwing himself around well and bullying opponents off the ball in midfield. Not sure where this fallacy has come from he is lightweight. Even when he faced us for Salzburg one of the things that stood out was his ability to use his body to bump opponents off the ball.

As for Montjuic, it can't be that small, it manages to fit a full running track around the pitch!}

I don't think it's a fallacy that Minamino was too lightweight. He was.
He was one of those signings that I really wanted to work out but it didn't, sadly.

I never watched Minamino and thought he was lightweight or lacking hunger. He was a good player but he lacked blistering pace or an exceptional passing range. You can't play in the wide areas in the Premier League if you can't either beat a defender or create from a deeper position. Up front he just lacked a killer instinct. Great finisher but his movement in the box wasn't elite level. He'll do well in France and i wish him all the best.

Diaz looks slightly lightweight and needs to Mane up a bit. Hopefully, Núñez will bring some strength to the attack now Mane has gone.

All Diaz has to do is improve his finishing! he got in some wonderful positions last season and his finishing let him down.

On every other aspect he was a wonderful signing who refreshed our attack just when we needed it.

Nunez should be on the penalty spot ready to finish off Diaz's pull backs and crosses into the box, so many times last year he beat his man with ease yet he had no options in the box- Nunez should fix that.

Biggest fallacy ever, IMO. The guy doesn't even look as frail as he was when he first arrived as he had bulked up over the last couple of years. Was he lightweight when he was putting VVD on his backside in that memorable CL game at Anfield? Also I watched him hold off opposing defenders and score goals in the Cup games (vs Norwich in both ties and Leicester) but yeah, he must be lightweight or those defenders must be more light weight than he is, lol.

I agree on Diaz. Major work needed on his finishing, but if he becomes a real goal threat. Your looking at a very very dangerous Liverpool front line.
His pace is frightening, can’t even double up on him because he’s too fast to set!
