There’s a lot of negativity around at the moment and in some cases rightfully so.

I do think the squad is crying out for another top midfielder, but I can’t see us making any more signings (unless there is a serious long term injury to somebody in the middle) . If that’s the case and Klopp is happy then I’m happy.

We’re still a world class team with a world class coach and we will still compete for trophies. Is our squad better than Cities? No probably not but our starting 11 can comfortably match them stride for stride.

We know how good a manager Klopp is and we know that he’ll make sure he does his absolute best to get the absolute best out of the players at his disposal. Whatever happens this season or next season or the one after that. Jurgen Klopp is a red and he’s a Liverpool legend.

To be honest the amount of negativity after 1 game is pretty embarrassing. The posters that accuse the players of lacking bottle are the same ones throwing in the title after 1 game. Klopp and this team have shown multiple times you can’t write them off and yet here we go again.

Rightfully so?
Considering what the club has achieved on the pitch and with the stadium expansion I would say that anybody showing any negativity is just that way in life generally.
Some people sift through the good moments just to find misery to wallow in.

Looks like Bellingham is top choice, reckon Hendo will back up fabinho elliot will get more of a start with naby and thiago staying, to rotate compete with other two.

Another depends on how youngsters do like Morton.

Next summer window as we always do 1 or two will come in youngster's will develop.

Good, positive thread op. I have stated in previous posts I'd swap out both naby and ox for one robust mid that can play 30+ games e. g. gini in his final season. But some of the hot takes in the media are ridiculous.

With Milner probably finishing up as a player this season, and the susceptibilty to injury of hendo and fab over a season, I do think it would be sensible for the club to assess their 'list' and bring someone in now, moreso given thiagos october injury prognosis.

If milly was 29 or kelliot/ jones/ carvalho had played a few more games we wouldn't be talking about a new mid.

We need more than just Bellingham next summer. 2-3 at least. Milner will retire probably, Keita may leave - Ox will go etc.
