That was so good I’ve watched it again!
Absolutely brilliant to a man from start to finish.
Anyone who can’t now see what Darwin Nunez brings to this team is simply clueless. He was everywhere and their defence had kittens every time he was anywhere near the ball. He must be exhausting to play against he never gave them a seconds peace.
What a performance, so happy to be a red right now.

I’m not his biggest fan but his performance last night was very reminiscent of his performance against us which had everybody raving about him. I thought he was unlucky not to get a goal (or two) last night’s get.

Got to second that on Nunez. Bradley and Kelleher will rightly get the plaudits but Darwin was excellent.

Not contract related, but how Bradley surely can’t carry on being a back-up for the next 3+ years.

He is a bit like Firmino. He may not have scored plenty, but he is a menace. I really like his workrate.

TTA watching that performance from Conor Bradley from the bench has probably helped him decide leave for RM.

I thought Nunez had a very good game last night but I’d still like to see him bring more goals to the team, but that must make me one of the clueless ones.
An unnecessary yellow card for going down in the box like he was shot by an elephant gun the 2nd game in the bounce but he looked far more confident with the ball and was nice to see him running at defenders.
On another day against another keeper he could have got a hat trick.
Probably our most exciting game of football to watch this season that. Bring on City.

I'm a clueless one then, Beckers! He had a good game last night, but I'm still not convinced in the long term.
Still buzzing from last night, voice hoarse and I've just got to go into meeting.

Thought Darwin was good last night but thought he should have been quicker to get into the 6 yard box when a few balls were put in. Overall tho a very good performance.
I think he can be the key to beating city. Their defence is all at sea and he can cause chaos in there.

So JK and Rome are you telling me that you can’t see what he brings to the team? If you are then yes you are absolutely the clueless ones!
He keeps taking more stick than anyone and yet he keeps going out there and working harder than anyone. His athleticism is off the charts!
Now I agree that his finishing can be wayward at times but is it not worth backing him for all of the other attributes he has? His finishing in Portugal was sublime so it’s in there we just have to bring it out.
I think he’s an awesome player I really do.

Beckers, when his finishing stops being "wayward" he will have my 100% support. Until such time I'm not convinced. I'm not the only supporter who shares that view, though I don't need backing to air my view.

Come on Beckers you can't call anyone clueless with some of the statements you come out with.
Its fine that others have a difference of opinion to you but it might come as a shock to you, that you're not always right and others are wrong.
I can't ever remember saying i can't see what he brings to the team and he gets 100% of my support every time.
Good to know that he works harder than everyone else though. That i was unaware of.

To be fair @BP, he’s a centre forward who’s scored 3 goals in 16 appearances this season. It’s fair to say he’s not a good bet for the season’s golden boot award is he?

To correct myself, he gets my 100% support, as does every player, but I'm not convinced. I'm simply clueless.

One of them for me, his work rate is fantastic and personally yes I do find him a great player but at the same time I can completely understand people's frustrations. Should he be scoring more? Of course he should and we all know this but what I love about him more than anything is his passion, he tries his hardest all of the time. Will he turn into a goal scoring machine? I don't know anymore, we've been hoping to see it for a very long time now and we're still waiting.
People (myself included) would be a lot more pis*Ed off about him if we weren't getting the goals Salah is currently scoring every game. We're very lucky to have a consistent goal scorer.
Both sides make good points, no point in being silly about it BP mate everybody has their opinions, it doesn't mean anybody is clueless.

As I say, not the greatest of his fans, but the lad deserves to keep his starting spot against City. Without Rodri to shield them, he could have a field day running their defence ragged.

One of the things i really like about Nunez is he is clearly seeking to improve. his link up play and movement has improved tremendously. Watch how he draws the defender out of the way for Maccas goal. He is not perfect but any player who keeps working hard to get better is worth persevering with if possible.
