Hi everyone, eds and LFC fans.
I don't know if it's just me but our club recently have a tendency of letting players leave for free and if we are not careful, the same thing will happen this summer.
I don't know how contracts work but without making any real signings during the summer transfer window, I'm surprised that up until now no deal has been agreed or no clarity do we have on the contracts of 3 of our best players.
The management have had enough time to sort something out. In a season where we are currently top and doing so well, would it not be wise to eliminate any form of distraction? For how long must the players answer questions on the status of their contracts? For how long can we the fans stomach this uncertainty and inactivity? It's reeking of incompetence right now because this has gone on for far too long. What have they been occupied with? Why allow this to continue? How hard can it be?

What do you suggest we do, BeeTeeQue?

Fan of Peaky Blinders, Rigsby? Quality.

It was good, Rome; but it wasn't The Sopranos.
The best TV programme ever. I'm planning on watching them all again very soon. I can't go on YouTube without it popping up.

I've never watched Sopranos, Rigsby, even though my favourite films are Godfather 1 and 2. I really should watch them.

Sopranos was incredible. That and BoJack Horseman are up there for me.

You must watch them, if you can, Rome. There are plenty of links to The Godfather films in The Sopranos.
I'm sure you will love it.
You can watch episodes several times and still pick up things that you previously missed.
Thanks, Stuie.

The Wire was brilliant, runs the Sopranos close. Early Boardwalk Empire pretty good as well if you like that type of thing.

BeeTeeQue, it's only a distraction if you let it and btw, the reason the Trent stuff (not the VVD nor Salah part) is a "distraction" is cos RM made a bid in order to cause the all the mayhem so what are we supposed to do about that? Oh, and nobody is forcing VVD and Salah (Trent ain't even talking) to talk about their contracts either so not sure what you're on about here.
And if you were either of these 3 players, would you sign a new deal with all the uncertainty to follow after Klopp's announcement like not knowing who the new manager will be, who we will sign nor whether we will compete the next season? Mate, relax. There are a lot of moving parts here that neither me nor you understand (I don't read clickbait rubbish either) so let's just let the process play out before engaging in flame-throwing and all that.

Have to say The Wire was the best show ever for me.

Loved sopranos, Rigsby. Probably the best series I've ever seen along with breaking bad, peaky blinders, the wire, boardwalk empire and Gommorah which is italian but quality. Nowadays there's bugger all like the above or I just can't find it.
