ED001 what's your thoughts on Ian Rush as a person. I used to work in the nightclubs in Town when he was playing. came. across as a bit arrogant. but seen a lot of people saying he's a bit unapproachable, head down when he's going into the game etc.

{Ed001's Note - he is a pretty quiet and shy guy, so doesn't really enjoy being mobbed etc. That is all it is.}

Met him once in Dublin, early 00s I think. Late at the end of a night, and he was an absolute gentleman.

I’ve met Rushie a few times, he’s just very introverted. He never liked the limelight and is always a bit wooden when speaking to the press because he’s just not comfortable doing it.

Sometimes that could comes across as rude and arrogant but that’s definitely not who he is.

I met Ian Rush in Melbourne and he was very friendly with me.

I must have met him and his wife a dozen or so times now through work. Very nice people. On the quieter side and likes to keep himself to himself but nothing wrong with that.
Footballers can be an odd bunch out in the wild but rush isn’t one of them.
Found Arteta to be a bit strange everytime I met him though, must have met him half a dozen times and he always had the exact same outfit on, ripped jeans and a zipped jumper thing. Always found that strange.
