Lots of varied emotions over Trent leaving, so I have a question for the group.

Should we let Trent -

A) leave for Madrid before the Club World Cup for free as a gift to him for his 20 years service to the LFC?

B) leave for Madrid before the Club World Cup as long as they pay the money LFC ask for?

C) stay at LFC until his contract runs out?

Your reasoning for your answer would be interesting.

If Madrid pay up, let him go. He's off regardless so take the cash imo. What is the benefit of us keeping him for a few extra days?

We'll be paying his salary from end of season till 30 June while he's on holiday which is probably close to £1m, I'd take whatever RM offer (rumour is it's 1m) plus getting him off the wage bill, maybe the guts of 2m in the clubs pocket.

B) for me also, draws a line under it then for good one way or the other!

Reason= We never really celebrated our first ever winning of the Premier League because of Covid Lockdown, drawing a line under it for good, will allow us all to truly celebrate Arne's magnificent first title win, rather than be overshadowed by the events of the past week continually, and all move on to hopefully more successful trophy winning seasons, our future success is more important than our past history now.
