Have seen a few comments, not on here, about the Liverpool team not respecting the supporters by taking a short celebratory holiday this week, with 2 games still to play.
For me, I couldn't give a crap. They walked the league. They could stay on holiday and play the U21s for the next 2 games and I wouldn't care.

I see it as we won the league so long ago
That the players feel like taking a
Holiday to kill some time and make it
Competitive for the others!

No it's a disgrace. Celebrating should be done after the actual lifting of the trophy.
Shows a lack of respect to the other teams. Also the clubs integrity could and rightly be questioned.
It's not going to look good if we lose games.
If say Manchester Utd did this we would be asking for them to have a points deduction.

They’ve earned that break. Anyone not liking it is just being salty.

Players worked hard to win the title almost a month before the season end. They deserved to be on a lighter regime and to have their holiday. Also lots of them still have to play for their national teams which means that real holiday won't start until mid June.
Netherlands is playing WC qualifiers on June 7 and June 10.
England on June 7.
Brazil, Argentina and Columbia are playing on June 5/ 6 and again on June 10.
It is smart to let them have some time off.

They could field the U10's if they wanted

CHAMPIONS CHAMPIONS CHAMPIONS ?.

As far as I'm concerned, we should be stripped of the title and all players and management flogged in front of Liverpool Town Hall, broadcast live on Sky. The Monday of the parade should be set aside for this.

{Ed025's Note - well im in for that Rome.. :)

I've said before I have no issue with it, as long as they hit the ground runnin next season.

Life is for living and they won the title with time to spare, don't forget after the parade the majority of the players go off for internationals etc. So the oppurtunity to do this just isn't there.

And if they beat Brighton on Monday, this whole conversation is irrelevant anyway.

Seems the celebration police are out in force.

Give it a rest Walter.

If others want to whinge and moan about it let them. We did our bit, others failed throughout the season to do theirs.

Same as a lot of the arguments we see to try and undermine our success this year.

Arsenal would have been closer if they got a striker in Jan. They didn't that's on them.

City would be closer if they had been more active in the summer. They didn't, that's on them.

Injuries injuries injuries. We have all had them and managed them, get on with it.

If the management want to reward the club for getting the job done early, let them. If other clubs have left it to the last minute to secure next season, that's unfortunate, but not a Liverpool problem.

In the recent past the very same players having a little get away have had to play near on every single game available to them and drained themselves to come out without a winners medal around their necks.

Bringing the integrity of results into question? I think there's a bigger issue at hand that some of the VAR decisions have bought a lot of results integrity into question. Sort that out before we worry about going into celebration mode once the League is tied up and sorted.

We won't mention 115 charges bringing multiple seasons result integrity into question.

But yea Walter, you bang the club are a disgrace for wrapping up the league and celebrating early drum you wally.

The league is done so who cares?

Play the kids, play the squaddies let the lads enjoy their success they don't get long off before it all starts again anyway.

They can just pop in for the trophy lift and then head back to Ibiza if they want!

Totally deserved imo as previously said by others internationals coming up and then they have a couple of weeks off to spend with their family and then back to pre season. Life is for living and living in the moment in case you've forgotten lads :- Champions Champions Champions.

Poor league, not played anybody, no injuries, var has gone our way . I hope the boys are living it up big time no disrespect to the two teams we have to play.
