POLICE HAVE ISSUED A STATEMENT (the below paragraph is the shortened version in my own words)

** The 53 year old man has been arrested on suspicion attempted murder. Tests found drugs in his system that rendered him unfit to drive. He was able to get down the blocked off road by tailgating an Ambulance through a road block (Paramedics were let through to assist someone having a heart attack in the crowd) . **

I wanted to wait for the Police to make statement before condemning someone, and now they've released the facts I feel well within my rights to say, what an awful excuse for a human being. Absolutely no regards for the wellbeing of the people around him. I hope he does a lot of time for this atrocious act.

Update from Merseyside Police assistant chief constable Jenny Sims:

50 people treated, the 11 still in hospital are all in a stable condition. 53-year-old man from West Derby arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, dangerous driving offences and driving while unfit through drugs. He remains in custody.

Thank God there has been no fatalities ?.

I'm curious about how long he would have spent waiting for an opportunity to sneak in behind the ambulance. Must have such a poisonous mind.

A hope when this excuse for a man gets the jail his fellow prisoners and also his prison officer are all liverpool fans.
