Not an ITK by any means but I just feel Nunez would be a beast for Simeone just because of their personalities and the league and culture and language. So, if that was true, and we throw in Robbo, wouldn't that (at least hypothetically) make Alvarez more attainable?
I really think he'd fit our style better than Isak. I feel the same way about Lautaro as well (vs. Isak) .

I don't know where the myth that Alvarez was rubbish for city has come from? He didn't start every week but he played really well at times and scored some great goals. Excellent player.

Me, neither Bmena-red. Always rated Alvarez and nothing has changed. It's a bit like saying Diego Forlan was a crap player at Utd while forgetting that he never got chances while those inferior to him like Alan Smith getting games ahead of him.

Only for him to leave and eventually prove what Utd had been missing all along all the way to being the MVP of the 2010 WC and finishing top scorer in la liga twice. We are in for him for a reason.

For me city played better with Alvarez in the team over the blonde donkey, and he was really pushed out of the team to accommodate EE OR.

Ed 025, however much I like a big Scandinavian guy, don’t tell my wife, i won’t have him over Salah, at least not for the next two seasons and I don’t believe you can have two defensive passengers anymore, not with how football is now.

Ed025, I’m not concerned with the amount we’d score, more with the amount we’d let in, if you have two players without defensive responsibilities with how football is now, I’d say we’d let in a shotload.
