Hi Eds,
Can you please tell what is the plan for the new GK Mamedashvilli? Seemed like an odd buy considering we still could have Allison for a good few years. Would he be happy warming the bench this season?

I think he has made a mistake signing for us in that case Ed. If he wanted to be a starter he shouldn’t have joined the same team as the best keeper in the world. He should have joined the bitters. He’d have no problem dislodging T-Rex arms.

Kicking games overrated. Onana was meant to be the 2nd coming of Maradona, a playmaker of Trent like proportions. Im fairly old fashioned when it comes to keepers id prefer if they can just keep a shote outa a net, oh and having arms longer than a 6 year old child is also a must.

Ed025 I remember your judgement on goal keepers mate is usually inaccurate, you used to preach about Pickford being better than Allison mate do you remember? Look how that’s turned out ? one has gone on to win everything, the other zip.

{Ed025's Note - they have different attributes SRM, Pickers is a great shot stopper but Alisson commands his area better, both good with their feet but overall i would say you have the better keeper, but lets not trash our keeper, after all he is Englands No1..

surely it's more important whether a player is happy to come in and compete for their position?

For the majority of the squad, I can't imagine there are many of them who would be happy to be on the bench. Just don't think that's how their mentality works.
