Edd001 how do we get back the sobosli that looked for the first 3 months under klopp, a rolls Royce. Looked a top drawer 8,then his form fell off. Then slot played about with his position, pushing him more as a 10, probably for more legs to press with his energy. Do you see slot putting him back as an 8 next season? Imo, he has it in him to be a special 8. Technically excellent and has every pass in his locker.

Anyone who knows anything about football understands what Dom S does for the team, he is like Gini was -The engine . Klopp said his LFC team was built on the heart and lungs of Gini, what an underrated player.
People expecting Dom to be Steven Gerrard as well as do all else he does are being unrealistic.

Well, step one would be to build something solid to carry us in. It will have to be tank like. Of course the mode of transport for time travel is not invented yet but you can bet your bottom dollar the journey is not going to be a cakewalk. We need something real solid with safety belts.

Once the carrier is built, we'll need to form a crew. Probably should have made that step one to help with the carrier build now I think of it. I ve written the paragraph already. I ain't going back. Me, Batman, Ed001, Saloe or Ed won't come, Ed25 for the banter and Leek so we can ditch him back in time.

Then we assemble the world's greatest ever scientists to drop all their money making bomb making and instead add something onto our rubbishbox that will make it travel back in time. Enough to the first three months of Szobo s time with Liverpool at least.

From there, we smash the wine bottle against the hull, hope it doesn't break our machine, hop in and next stop, the past!

I’ve just finished welding some pans to a Tesco shopping trolley - we’re officially halfway to a prototype. I’ve also added the indestructible core component: a Nokia 3210. There’s a wing mirror from a 1992 Ford Escort strapped to the side, and for some reason there’s a rubber duck where you’re meant to put the pound in, I’m blaming aoe for that one.

Oh, and I’ve duct taped a couple of old seatbelts to the frame though I'm nnot entirely sure what they’re attached to, but they give off a strong illusion of safety.

And I echo the sentiments expressed above, folks expecting him to be Gerrard as well as pressing and covering the ground he does off the ball.

I do think that he will play deeper and give an excellent account of himself this year though.

Davey, pretty sure Tony Stark already cracked time travel in 2018/ 9?

Also, from what we have learnt about time travel, if we bring the Dom from then to here, he did be missing from that timeline and we did have 2 Doms here. Whilst the midfield will be terrifying as opposition may be harassed off the ball throughout the game, I’m unsure how they will resolve their intimate relationships.

@Batman7 (and you're not doing this, to be clear) if anyone thinks Szobo is going to get sold or hold bench or whatever now that Wirtz is here, is fooling themselves. One of the reasons Salah was awesome last season was cos he had Szobo doing all his running, covering and tracking back for him. Slot is not going to bin him just cos Wirtz is in town.

If anything and I agree with you, they will play together and Wirtz will prolly improve Szobo cos both are very good players on the ball and offer diff. qualities along with Macca and Grav, IMO. That midfield would be awesome, IMO.
