One for ed025 currently doing some wind testing on your new stadium it hurts to say but it does really look fantastic going to be up there with spurs new stadium.

{Ed025's Note - yeah it looks boss kloppers, we just need a team now that justifies the time effort and money that has gone into it mate, but i do feel we are on the right road..

Will be like spurs, great stadium, win nowt 😂😂😂. To be fair, I'm only jealous of the stadium but still don't think the team will ever reach the top.

Overlooking the beautiful Wirral ay ed, hopefully run a ferry direct as there’s to many of you butters over this side.

{Ed025's Note - i do like the wirral lerchy it gives me a chance to get away from scousers, blues are everywhere though mate from toxteth to timbuk tu and once our stadium is built we will be the envy of the footballing world..

Funny that Ed I go to Liverpool to escape the Birkenheaders! Hopefully we get our side rebuilt along the waterfront along with the stadium and become the world elite port we used to be.

{Ed025's Note - that would be good lerchy, we could build a bridge as well and all the birkenheaders can come over and teach us how to drink tea while having your little finger in the air mate.. :)

We used to be an elite close city, 86 cup final we all sang Merseyside.

It’s the Evertonians singing murders at the derby that’s dividing the city.

21 Aug 2019 07:33:32
Drogie we are just as bad as the blue part of Merseyside.

{Ed025's Note - your right walter, i dont condone any of it mate but i think it says more about modern day society than anything..

21 Aug 2019 09:42:30
Jesus Ed most scousers would rather brick up the tunnel than build a bridge haha.

{Ed025's Note - your right there lerchy, but i play a lot of golf over the water so i have to tolerate the unwashed and penniless mate.. :)

Good job you're stadium the docks, it will be easy for your supporters to flee the country when they lose 2-1 to Burton Albion.

{Ed025's Note - now now sammy, you know everton are the pride of merseyside and the "peoples club" mate, we are on the way up so if i were you i would be afraid...i would be very afraid actually..

The council loaning the money to Everton to build it is incredibly dodgy and should nto be allowed in my opinion - money from the public purse is not to be gambled on vanity projects like one's football teams stadium. Anderson is a disgrace but Everton as a club are equally complicit in this - how can they justify accepting such a deal given the inherent risks? I'm sure the stadium will be grand ED025 but the deal stinks and should not be funded by the city council.

{Ed025's Note - its an investment seano, the council will get their money back...and some, if they were investing in LFC then i can guarantee your ethical stance would be different mate, its about time the council invested in the city and they are on to winner with this state of the art facility, its a stadium that will be used for a lot more than football and will benefit all of merseyside even the bitter reds, we wont be complaining if norway name a fjord after liverpool as a tribute to your supporters fella.. :)

21 Aug 2019 20:40:19
Haha laughed at that fjord crack, but I will say you're wrong about me being Ok with it if it was Liverpool. I am vehemently opposed to public money being used for vanity projects or being gambled on the potential of something, for me that doesn't sit right and, if anything, would irk me more if it was the club I support being the beneficiary of such actions. If all goes well the council may well benefit but nothing is certain in this life and I still feel like it is gambling with the cities future - I find it irresponsible and, despite Anderson's protestations, do think that it is Evertons stadium is a factor in his decision-making - let's be honest the guy is happy to change all sorts of rules and regulations if it benefits him personally him and this is another addition to that list.

I'm not bitter though mate, half my extended family are blue and we have good banter over the football and, if push came to shove, if it wasn't Liverpool doing well, I'd rather it Everton than any other side as it would at least give half my family some joy. Hard to believe I know! But I've always had blue family members and blue friends, and for me it's just good fun and something you talk about, have a pint about, and rib each other about. and that's it. I honestly wouldn't begrudge Everton success, provided it wasn't at Liverpools expense!

{Ed025's Note - your a man after my own heart seano, but seriously i think the stadium will be a triumph for not only everton but the city in general, regeneration of the dock area can only be a good thing and its not as if the council are funding the lot of it mate..

22 Aug 2019 04:36:50
I hope you're right mate an that it does prove to be a boost for the entire city. It's certainly long overdue for you as a club, as historic as Goodison is it is way past its sell-by-date.

{Ed025's Note - your right there seano mate..
