Wan-Bissaka has it all to prove in a team in decline at a massive fee hanging over his head.

If I had to say who is the best siginging of the season, well not really a new signing but a player who will probably be leaving Villa come the end of this season after signing a new contract will have to be John Mcginn.

David Luiz for less than 10x what Man Utd paid for Maguire. He has a high profile mistake (which will happen to everyone except VVD) but apart form that, he's a very good player and defender. I also rate him as a better defender than Harry Maguire. Absolute Madness.

Leicester look a quite tasty prospect. They and Wolves, will do some damage. Spurs have also improved as well. Utd? They look desperate and the inherent issues they have are yet to be fixed. Imagine, they have EIGHT CB's to choose from. That in it of itself, is a complete train wreck.

When you look at it, keeping the team together and having some consistency may not be a bad thing. And looking at the business others have done I’m not convinced that there’s been anything we’ve desperately missed out on, Maguire for £80+m still makes me laugh though.

Totally agree Irish, he makes City even stronger.

I also think Pepe to Arsenal, . Pepe, lacacette and Aubameyang is a decent front line.

That’s a cracking front line - one of the best in Europe except perhaps ourselves, City, Barcelona and maybe one or two others.

The only problem is it’s their midfield and defence that needed fixing, they still lack any real grit.

I think they could be the Liverpool of 13/ 14.

I think pepe to arsenal looks a good signing. They have some great attacking players and every window they buy more. I just think someone should tell them their defence is their problem.

Hate say it but i think the team that will imp ove the most due to signings i think itll be utd. I think they'll get top 4. If maguire and de gea form a partnership. I dunno though. it could all blow up in there face with that maguire fee.

Robbiesline, United still have Pogba who is a disruptive influence, they’ve sold one of their top scorers and haven’t replaced him, I’m not convinced by Maguire, he’s slow on the turn and can be done by pace, he’s not an £80m player. Desperation signing. I think sixth is an achievement for them.

Spot on, 6 Times. Toby Alderweireld is three times the CB Maguire wishes he was and even I would not pay 80m for him. I will say his age would not let him command such a fee and even then, he is just a top CB and according to Ed01, Spurs's best player.
