in any given game when we are up 1-0 we alwqys want the second goal to 'kill' the game. well we got the second goal and it did the job. nothing is easy in this league but you deserve everything you work for.
well done lads. too early to be calling things an acid test. Don't know how much I can put up with reading acid test and must win for the next 8 months hahahaha

just keep racking up the points lad in anyway. YNWA.

Faith, I fully agree BUT as they say, "2-0 is a very dangerous score line" and that was again proven vs Saints. That game could have easily ended had Ings not fluffed his lines. Our boys did do a lot of graft in the 2nd half and scored the second goal (could have score more) BUT all that can get undone with one error leading to a goal and then, its 2-1 with 10 mins to go and the nerves go apes**t. All in all, we got the 3 points and I'd rather be us than be City who had 30 shots (10 on target) vs Spurs and only got a point.

lets not forget the sitter bobby missed before he scored and the chance salah passed up, plus Gunn made good saves from Mane and Robbo, given the circumstances and the fact that this was Southampton's first home game of the season, I am more than happy with the result.
I agree that we have plenty to improve on but 11 consecutive wins in the premier league is something to be pleased about, once all the factions of the side click into gear, we will take some beating.
Not bad for a team with a crap midfield and a even worse defence! how do we keep getting away with it? becoming European champions, getting 97 pts, winning the super cup, 100% start this year, long may it continue.
We all would have taken the result before the match, now we can freshen up before the arsenal match.
This is a good time to be a Liverpool fan. let's enjoy it.

Good post kingkenny7. Winning 3 points is the objective for us to achieve before each game and as long as we keep getting them wins I'm happy.

fair redwolf. altho I always felt lile that saying about 2-0 was driven by people who want guarantees lol. 2-0 is better than 1-0 altho subjectively they probably feel about as dangerous as each other lol.
