Question for the Eds if you are about and willing. I know that a few of you are close to your respective teams, or that you have insight into the football/ transfer business.

If you're able to share, I'm curious to know how you got into those positions. I don't mean for this to be a revelation of sources or anything like that, but what events in your lives or career choices have put you each in the position to get this kind of information.

If that's off limits, I certainly understand. Thanks.

{Ed001's Note - I really don't know how to answer this question. I grew up around a lot of the right people really. Family friends were involved in the game, I guess. I have never really thought about it. Silly things helped me, like travelling a fair bit with my uncle in the early days of his career as a stand up comedian, you would get to know the staff and owners of all the clubs and hotels etc that he worked. Then you go on a night out and, as I am a friendly sort of person, they would remember me and I would be in the VIP section. As I don't drink I would be the one who would end up looking after everyone and so people remember that you sorted things when things were going off.

Really it is like a giant snowball, you know one person who introduces to another and so on.}
