Over the years when we've Loaned out players it's seemed a massive waste of time. But the Harry Wilson moves looks a great one at the moment!

It’s seems an interesting one he seems to still be scoring regularly in the prem, however from what I have heard his overall input into the game still needs some work on.

Needs to work harder and no go missing for long periods of the game. Demand the ball, dictate the play.

Anyways well done to the lad!

{Ed001's Note - well done? If he doesn't do more then he doesn't deserve to be congratulated. Laziness should not be celebrated. Playing well below the level you are capable of should not receive applause.}

Whichever way you look at it, I don't think he's suitable to the way we play and what Klopp wants out of the midfielders. I doubt very much we'll see him in LFC shirt. I think this loan was a pure financial play. Build up the kid some more, hope he does well elsewhere with some key goals, and then ask for the 20 Million next summer when they come calling again.

I meant for the goal Ed!

{Ed001's Note - I would still not congratulate him, he needs to do more to earn that.}

You are very harsh, very high standards . feel sorry for your kids (if you have any :)

{Ed001's Note - but he is not one of my kids, he is a professional footballer who is wasting his talent. Hardly high standards to expect him to put in an effort and break sweat on the pitch. You have clearly got ridiculously low standards if you think he is earning the obscene money he gets paid to play a game we would all happily play for free.}

I think it's telling that he's often subbed off early. The other night Southampton were getting in more and more control after HT and Wilson had to be taken off as he was anonymous in his midfield duties out of possession.

Up until last year his career was predominantly as a star man u23 player but he now needs to show that he can offer more to his team. Technically talented players don't last too long in the starting 11 of premier league teams if they are unable to give more than just moments of class on the ball. The right manager might be able to help him improve in this area of his game, but I'm not so sure Eddie Howe is great in that department.

To look on the positive side, his output is very good for a guy playing below himself.

But, yes, I am sure Klopp and co are looking for other parts of his game as indicators whether to keep him or not.

JK23, buddy, want to step outside for a minute so we can discuss your hilarious sense of humour, LOL? Or maybe we can address it in the live chat tonight. 😉.

What it comes down to is that he is not as talented as Shaqiri and even Xherdan can't get time on the pitch. Wilson will likely come back in to replace Shaq who will want to leave due to lack of game time.

I was reading a tweet from a Bournemouth supporter who, whilst appreciated his goal return, was quite critical of his work rate.
If he can work hard at Bournemouth then he will never make it into a Klopp first XI.

I watched the game and he was terrible. If there was a 50/ 50 to go for, he backed away and left it for a team mate every time.

I really hope he notches up plenty of goals this season and his work rate doesn't get highlighted too much in the media, or it will affect his value.

We need to take the highest bid next time anyone wants to sign him permanently.

{Ed001's Note - finally someone sees it!}
