Ed001 I would say the Adrian transfer is the best business of the summer to sell Mings for over £6m and to get him for free and not sure but would guess he is in less wages great business.

{Ed001's Note - a lot less wages.}

well he deserves a pay rise. I was dreading it when Alisson got injured. But he has got better with every game and if Alisson was not such an outstanding keeper he would be unlucky to lose his place when he comes back.

{Ed001's Note - he is loving it as well. It is like all his Christmases have come at once and it is so nice to see a player who is just delighted to be where he is.}

Think he'll get a Spain call up ed?

{Ed001's Note - probably not though he probably deserves one.}

"Best business of the summer"?

We signed him, two kids and a veteran third choice keeper on a free that last played in the Championship. I think it's a bit early to judge the kids, but yeah, Adrian's done a great job deputising so far.

He’s getting better and better. Great saves for the header against Napoli, stood up well for the 1v1 against Abraham and made a cracking save before the disallowed goal.

Like you said about being happy to be here ed, he truly seems it. Albeit he may have less than 10 games left in his Liverpool career!

Is he on a one year contract ed?

He seems like the perfect prem number 2, as he has shown that he can cover if needed and Allison can’t rest on his laurels. But also a good pro and will understand if he doesn’t play much.

Adrian did not have a full preseason when he got picked up literally off the street/ couch before the season began. This showed in his first few games as he was out of shape and off the pace not only physically but mentally and was not yet used to the way we play. It also did not help that he got injured in the Super Cup and played the Saints game on a bummed ankle and yet, still managed to keep us in the game in the first half.

The int'l break came at the best time as clearly, he and the coaches spent the time really working hard on his game and what is expected of him in the Klopp system. Now, it is showing and IMO, he has been a rock for us. His perf. vs Napoli was AB1-esque and he was solid again vs Chelsea. As Ed 01 said, all his Christmases seem to have come true and he is giving it loads. Great professional and is now a fan fav., IMO.

Really has worked out nicely. He was signed with us all thinking he'd never be needed but thrown into action straight away and has improved week after week. You could tell after the super cup how happy he is to have this opportunity with us and when allison returns he might not be used much again and even if that is the case he will be more than proud of his role and we can forever remember him as an iconic legend similar to how Gary McAllister is.

Let's hope he stays solid until allison returns and if we manage to claim glory by next may then Adrian will be deserved of big credit to playing a huge involvement in our strong early form.

What's also nice is that if he moves on in a year or 2 he may well have good offers available to play PL football still as a year or 2 simply as allison understudy would have likely seen him fall away from top tier clubs interest.

Fair play to the lad, seems a real genuine nice person who's fulfilling his dream at the point in his career when it seemed so unlikely.
