And to all the guys hammering constantly about our bench not being as good as theirs, let this serve as a lesson. It doesn't matter how good your bench is, if your first XI is not producing the goods!

I agree with ed's assessment that Pep's teams regress every single season, which usually culminates in a below-par third season, but we still can't get ahead of ourselves. After all, we were 7 points ahead at one point last season and we still couldn't win it. It's early on, we've still got a lot of games ahead of us, let's just focus on out next fixture against United for now.

I haven't asked for any victory parades just yet, Zpecialone. I know every Epl team goes through a dip at least once a season, and it's still 30 games to go. At some point we'll have ours too. My post was hinting at ManC's perceived "invincibility" by many people, and arguing it's not the case perhaps anymore, despite the great team they have been the past two years.

ArAy, we have been saying that this whole thing about City's "invincibility" was nothing short of media propaganda to lull the rest of us into believing it and hence, other teams will chose not to challenge them. Clearly, this is no longer working.

I remember when we talk about this and how City are sitting ducks esp. defensively BUT one of the Ed's on here (he knows who he is) would always slate us, saying we are haters and not wanting to give City credit for their play, which is pathetic cos we all know how good City is and have been for a few years now.

For the last two seasons, City have been exposed as defensively liable and useless even after Pep has spent over 300m on defenders and GK's and now, they played a Wolves team that really, should have pummeled them even more. As for LFC, nothing has changed for us. 30 games left (virtually a full season) to play so one game at a time and keep the focus on 100%. City and their issues? That has nothing to do with us.
